No, but I absolutely hate games against FCS schools. It is like having a bye where players can get injured. Granted, pretty much every game last year leading up to LSU was boring and a 100% anticipated easy win, but I don't get tired of Alabama being favored.

I get so pissed when we blow shutouts in the second half. That's what most games come down to for me, can we get a shutout?

No. It's just as much fun to win as its always been. I don't get put on the emotional roller coaster of pre-Saban days (what can we do to blow this 14 point lead) anymore.

I know. I'm the same way. We were pissed when ND scored their first TD and it ended our streak of unanswered points in the BCSCG.

Bored??? I like watching Bama dominate like they have. I guess all you other Bama fans really loved getting beat by aTm. frick that. Hope Bama has 30 point leads at halftime in every game. I'm just as pumped watching the future stars showcase their talents in the second half. I do understand the question, and after enduring the previous decade pre Saban I enjoy every minute of what Bama football is doing now. This is a run like no other and it won't last forever. Soak it all in Bama fans. RTR!

Not even sure who you are replying to, but we've got a pretty good thread here. Please douche up a different one with your eternal A&M gayness.

Nope. I like beating the other team by 40. The last two games were classic examples of why.

The Georgia game almost gave me a heart attack. I'm too old for that kind of excitement in a ballgame.

The 2nd play of the Notre Dame game I was at my eldest daughter's house and we all looked at each other and said "this one's over". Watching Bama run Notre Dame out of the stadium was a very relaxing, very enjoyable experience.

I'll take relaxing and enjoyable over a heart attack any day.

I don't miss it. Can't say that. But there is a bit of "is this even fun any more" vibe that comes along from time to time.

The Georgia, LSU, and A&M games were our "heart attack" games this year. They were a lot of fun but it's also nice to chill watching your team dismantle Auburn.

The thrill of a big upset is something I do kinda miss. The feeling of the '09 SEC Championship was indescribable and still probably my favorite Bama win ever, even over the national title games.

That said, I'd never willingly go back to those days when we were often the underdog.

In all honesty, Alabama should never "upset" anyone. I am not saying they should always be favored, but no Alabama win over anyone should ever be considered an upset and if it is, Bama is in a place they shouldn't be.

LSU beat Bama 2010/11 and should have won this year. Miles is the only coach that can stand toe to toe with Saban

"I couldn't imagine the fun in going to every game as a huge favorite (Obviously I want to win every game). Do you somewhat miss the "average" years where you upset some teams? The 2009 Egg Bowl was the most fun game I have ever been too, mainly because of all the OM trash talk before the game. With that said, does a part of your "football fan inside" wish you weren't favored in a game

when I say average, I mean like 9/10-2/3ish with a win against a top 5 team"

I sometimes like to force the sharpe end of a stick into my eye so that when I remove it, I feel so much better.

As ridiculous as this sounds, I found myself in this same boat the last couple of seasons. There are like a couple of good games and then the rest I find myself thinking the team failed if they don't get a shut out or don't score 40 or win by 35 or something ridiculous.

As long as Alabama is as good as they are, I'd like to see more out of conference games against teams in the top 25.

But like others have said, all it takes is a couple of close games or a loss to get your head out of your arse and realize that domination is so much better than being in a position to get the big upset (i.e., not being one of the best teams in the country).

Any time I get bored with winning, I try to think back to the days of losing to the likes of Northern Illinois and LaMo.

Winning ain't so bad.

Miles is also 2-4 against Saban in the last 6 games. Bama's average margin of victory in those games is 10 points (6.3 if you eliminate the 21 point thumping in the BCSNCG). LSU's average margin of vitory in their 2 wins is 3 points.

I'm older than the majority of folks on the board and have been on the roller coaster watching Bama football since the 1940's. I saw the great teams with Harry Gilmer as a 12-year old, and also saw the absolutely terrible teams of "Ears" Whitworth as coach when they won 3-4 games in three years, leading to the hiring of Coach Bryant.

With the exception of 68-70, Coach Bryant's teams were much like today - Bama was expected to win and did a great majority of the time.

Given a choice between the two feelings - I prefer being the favorite and if we lose, the other team makes it their red letter win for the next 10 years. I live in So Car and the Gamecock fans still rave about the 2010 game.
