Almost anyone can be taught the right way after 5 years. Bama didn't give him his talent.

3* 3rd round pick. Best Safety in football. Here endth the conversation.
Tyrann Mathieu signed a 5 year, $62,500,000 contract with the Arizona Cardinals, including a $15,500,000 signing bonus, $40,000,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $12,500,000.

He thinks highly of Pro Bowlers...
quote:
What does Mike Mayock think of
Jamarcus Russell (1st, #1) Bust
LaRon Landry (1st, #6) PRO BOWLER
Craig Davis (1st, #30) Spent 5Years in N F L, retired after injury
Glenn Dorsey (1st, #5) 1st team All-Pro, PRO BOWLER
Tyson Jackson (1st, #3) In League 10yrs, played in Super Bowl
Morris Claiborne (1st, #6) Injured most of his career and in wrong system, has not lived up to expectations
Rueben Randle (2nd, #63) First Team All-Pro, PRO BOWLER
Barkevious Mingo (1st, #6) Super Bowl Champion

Did you literally just make up half of those?
Glenn Dorsey was NEVER a 1st Team All-Pro or Pro Bowler. Rueben Randle was NEVER a 1st Team All-Pro or Pro Bowler. LOFL - he's never even had a 1,000 yard season.
So, basically, 1 player on that list went to 1 Pro Bowl. In a list full of guys picked in the Top 10. Like I said, they were busts.
LOL Reuben Randle 1st Team All-Pro.

And nick Fairley gets 2.5 million per year for each sack.

That is the key to being a bust. If you are a first rounder, you are going to start as a rookie (too much money invested). It is what they do after being a starter that determines if they are a bust or not.

Yea, busts are determined by where they are drafted and how they perform relative to that slot.
If Glenn Dorsey was a 2nd round pick then he is not a bust. He was the #3 overall pick. You don't draft guys #3 overall to be one-dimensional rotation players. Same with Tyson Jackson.

will you also start threads on guys teams have given up on like DJ Fluker and Chance Warmack?
I'm pretty sure it's because a lot of fans on this board said that Kirkpatrick was a nfl bust.

Yea - I have no problem admitting Alabama has had some busts. The notion that Alabama has had more than LSU or any other school with tons of guys drafted early is what is laughable.

Nah, just played the Bama card, and claimed erroneous achievements.

So 6 LSU players there drafted in the Top 6 picks. Between all of them - 1 Pro Bowl, 0 All-Pros.
You must consider them busts, no? Or is this where you deflect and spin off into some other universe?

Believe what you wish, Mike Mayock has discussed the failed expectations of top Bama players in the NFL the last 3 drafts.

The whole crux of his post was that I was wrong because LSU has a bunch of Pro Bowlers in that group listed.
2 of the 3 people he mentioned as Pro Bowlers were not, in reality, Pro Bowlers.

I love that Bama fans need to use football players and coaches to make themselves feel relevant in life.
The fact yall cant see how pathetic yall look makes it that much funnier to watch.
How does that fact that you use random alabama internet posters and the "common traits of bama fanbase" to make yourself feel relevant in life and online?
Is also pretty funny to watch IMO
