We didn't know much about Grants personality other than the presser. I'm sure he said all the right things and it was good. But Johnson will not be the hermit crab that Grant was. Grant was invisible other than on gameday.
He will bring excitement back to the program. Grant never brought that.

Congrats UA. I hope he wins the season like he appears to have done the press conference.

I remember a lot of AU fans jubilation when Chizik brought in the "Stache" & Tom Brady's mentor "Lefty". It was happy times on the Plains if only for a short while.

The man has charisma and is great in front of the camera. Now, if he hires a solid staff that knows how to maneuver the AAU environment to get to the talent - he'll be fine.
