Last 5 times AU had roster with 20 players of 20-gms experience, including 10 with 30 gms. AU combined for 3 SEC titles and 59-7 record.

I believe Gus is a better X's and O's Coach than Gene. Gene however, had Gus - who only had to focus on one task.

Gus now has the whole party to manage. Gus blew a 19 point lead - He was to busy micromanaging the offense to be fully invested (as a HC) in the defense. Say what you will - some guys are better OC's and DC's than they are HC's. Miles, Saban are HC's - Gus, like Kiffin is an OC.

Auburn won a lot of close games, 3 by luck & refs.
Georgia was luck, but what were the other two? Certainly not Alabama.

BTW, continue the melt. How many days has it been so far?

Is this measured from The Auburn game or The Oklahoma game?

for old times sake...give us a post iron bowl rundown of how we won these games.

Be honest. you're wearing a no fear t-shirt that says 'football is life, the rest is just details' shirt right now, aren't you?

Some days you're leading the charge asking your fellow bama fans to not be so clueless, and other day's you're just leading the charge.

As soon as he declared for the draft.

Doesn't change the fact that if Gustafsen starts losing, they will then on him. Happens everywhere.

I don't think gus is a micromanager at all... certainly not on the level of Saban

You've obviously only formed an opinion based on message boards rumors.

I'll give you a hint - which coach holds a clip board and over sees play calls during a game and which coach walks up and down the sidelines allowing his coaches to coach.

exactly... this isn't exclusive to auburn or anything. Fans hate losing... we didn't turn on chizik for any other reason than he ran the program into the ground in a 12 month period.

No way in hell Auburn's winning the SEC next year. Auburn's wins apparently depend on weather conditions and we know how that goes...

Well we only lose to ourselves and we lost a lot of ourselves to the draft. I think that means we are going undefeated
