Should be the favorite. I think it will be the winner of the Iron Bowl again.

Which probably means LSU will have clinched the West by then.

As a micromanager, Gus has reached the pinnacle of his success last season at Auburn. I don't say that to troll, just as an opinion given the current topic.

Be forewarned, losing the NC game can create a miserable hangover, often a worse one than would result from winning it.

And our current roster is most likely our most talented ever considering the 5 straight top 10 classes we have signed, light attrition the past two years, and only a couple of juniors going pro.
