Haven't read the entire thread, but my first thought when I saw the headline was that Auburn may well start to turn their season around now.

Guy was a cancer and they're better off with him gone.

The team is better off even if they do not win another game, if it is true that it was another fight.

I am a fan. I want to see my team win, I do not, however, want to see young men taught that it is okay to keep making the same stupid choices over and over again simply because they expect to get away with it because they have talent.

I haven't read the whole thing here, but has phan (whatever his latest iteration is) chimed in yet? Seems only thUGA has players like this, so I'm curious to see the uber-spin job that gets put to use here.

Serious question. Are any of you Auburn fans concerned that Duke may be a bitch and snitch about extra benefits he may have received? It always concerns me when things like this happens at Bama

Not at all. I doubt anything he got left a paper trail. We are better than that.

I'm not even pumping sunshine when I think this has to be a positive for this team. In my mind, my expectations for the rest of the season never counted on a turnaround in play from him. Add in attitude issues and this has got to be a net positive to keeping the team together and avoiding (or minimizing) an overall collapse.

Serious question. Why do you care what that guy says? I do not think anyone agrees with the stuff he spews. I think he does it for the attention and to get under your skin.

He is like your own personal Coach Crisp.

UGA gets some thug players, every team does. Richt typically cuts them. I see no problem with that.

If the player is providing proof, then it is pretty damning. If he deposited anything into his account all he would have to do is show bank statements.

Just curious if Auburn undefeated right now, would he be dismissed? They seem to want to deal with his problems at the beginning of the season. Now not so much. I find it interesting that he got curb stomped after two losses, so much for the FAMBLIE.

Calloway stayed quiet. I am sure the same unsavory people who give benefits to players give enough to keep them quiet.

He's a loser, he doesn't' bother me. In fact, it's pretty humorous that he repeats the same broken record crap time and time again. There are some trolls that put some thought into their schtick, which will sometimes rustle me. Some child that just recites mostly incorrect information ad nauseum doesn't.

The only reason I asked, is because he has such a holier than thou attitude about auburn (while accusing UGA of such), so just curious if he's weighed in on this situation with one of your "thugs" getting kicked off. Although, I'm sure I already know what his answer would be. "IF HE PLAYED AT UGA SAINT RICHT WOULD STILL LET HIM PLAY. JAN KEMP."

When he got kicked off the team I was worried as shite. I just knew he would snitch. Then again, Robbie didn't. Robbie blames himself for his career at Bama and no one else. I really appreciate the man he has become.

Was a completely stupid decision to not go pro after last season. I was 100% shocked when he returned.

his account

It's not damning at all. Unless he has a photo of somebody handing him cash or he was wired with a mic then there's nothing. We've been doing this too long (20+ years) without getting caught to make rookie mistakes like that. Did you forget the HBO4 already?

Is anyone actually surprised with how trash auburn has been? I mean its fricking auburn

and even with 1 of the 3 bosses of the west down and your 2nd best season in school history you STILL wont make it to Atlanta every time I start to get down about our train wreck I look to you for perspective.

The team just got better.

Duke has made about 5 catches this year. He was taking up space someone else could actually produce in.

The team couldn't get much worse.

Well I'm sure the NCAA couldn't ignore a kid that doesn't work having, lets say, deposits of 20k or more and the kid saying hey I got this from such and such who is a booster. Isn't that what happened in the SMU case?

NCAA has had it's teeth removed with pliers after the Miami debacle.

That is because of the illegal methods they employed to uncover information. In a case where the athlete is bringing you physical evidence I would assume it would be something you couldn't ignore.

Where would Duke be depositing this alleged money? A 401k account? Checking account? Serious question.

We all know kids like get $ at every school, but I doubt its the grandiose amounts that you assume. Every kid you sign is a future risk to fail, leave the school and eventually squeal. You don't go 20 years with the kind of scrutiny that Auburn has endured and not have a plan for that.
