If Auburn beats Alabama that win alone should give them enough to jump Ohio State, but will it?

to ensure that it will they need a highly ranked Missouri in Atlanta instead of S.Carolina.A win there an they are in Pasadena no ifs ands or buts.

Missouri needs Bama to win.Beating the 2 time defending champs in Atlanta would IMO give them enough to jump Ohio State.

Both Auburn and Missouri as it stands can claim tougher schedules than OSU and even Florida State for that matter.

Don't think human voters would place a 1 loss team over an undefeated team from a major conference. Who knows. Maybe we will find out.

I don't think we jump OSU either way unless they lose. But if USCe beats Clemson, a win over them rather than Mizzou wouldn't be much different

That would effect the computers but not the human voters which is 2/3 of the system.

It would be retribution for 2004 if Auburn goes over Ohio St. You'd get the reverse-snub, and then maybe the curse over your program would be lifted.

Have to dissagree with the Auburn ppl here.

You beat the defending champ at home then follow that up with a win over what could be #4 in a championship game. That to me gives you enough. That SEC street cred is more powerful than you think.

Y'know, if Florida can pull off the miraculous upset (or maybe Duke), this story becomes hilarious. We then get the SEC champ vs (probably) Ohio St.

Think the nation would be in favor of that? Personally, I think they prefer a different opponent for us...

I don't think the pre season number 1 and 2 team staying that way after not losing all season and leaving us out is a curse. I think it's unfortunate but we aren't snake bit. Hell just look at 2010 and tell ,e how that's unlucky?

They won't have to. They will only have to vote them ahead of Michigan State.

Auburn will lose the Iron Bowl on a bad call from the officials. They got away with a horsecollar vs Aggy and holding on the miracle vs UGA.

Karma.

Yea but the Hail Mary was karma for the Murray td. If you really want to talk about things that don't exist, that is.
