Can these threads stop already? We are not going to jump an undefeated OSU no matter who we play in the SECCG if we beat Bama.

I just don't see a one loss team jumping OSU. If OSU goes undefeated, it would mean that they beat a one loss Mich. St. team.
I think they should be ranked in the top two, but it won't happen.

Bama will win both easily, making this a moot point.

It doesn't matter. OSU is not winning out. Either Alabama, Auburn or Mizzou will play for the NC.

It was enjoyable going to Georgia and shocking them. Florida was a blast. I especially liked the linebacker getting knocked down repeatedly after cheap shotting Marcus Murphy out of bounds. Going to Ole Miss and prison raping their five stars made me giggle. Johny Football will not finish the game next week. But the crème de la crème will be curb stomping Saban. Simply can't wait.

If Auburn beats Alabama that win alone should give them enough to jump Ohio State, but will it?

to ensure that it will they need a highly ranked Missouri in Atlanta instead of S.Carolina.A win there an they are in Pasadena no ifs ands or buts.

I see, so you believe Bama could not beat a highly ranked SCAR in Atlanta?

Michigan or Michigan State are both capable of beating OSUe. One of them will, I hope. Michigan State's D makes them dangerous to OSUe. Dantonio is a Gamecock so I'll be pulling for him.

First off..you wont be highly ranked,Boyd and Watkins will make sure of that.

However,if you were, there would be enough chicken left over for sandwiches @ the Chicken bowl after Bama plucked that arse clean.

With all the SEC fatigue, I honestly don't see how you guys think voters are going to put an Auburn team that lost by two scores to LSU or a Mizzou team that lost to a banged up, two loss East team over an Urban Meyer coached OSU with two consecutive undefeated regular seasons.

Y'know, if Florida can pull off the miraculous upset (or maybe Duke), this story becomes hilarious. We then get the SEC champ vs (probably) Ohio St.

Think the nation would be in favor of that? Personally, I think they prefer a different opponent for us...

Wait until tOSU and FSU lose a game.

Then say Auburn beats 'Bama (I don't think this happens btw) and Mizzou beats Auburn in the SECCG.

In that case, there is no doubt the two most deserving teams would be Mizzou and 'Bama for the Nat'l Champ Game.

Sadly Alabama would be the only ranked opponent Missouri's beaten almost no chance that would put them over Ohio State. I didn't think it was possible but Missouri actually played a worse OOC schedule than Ohio State

the problem with your theory is that no one had "we want bama" tees.

Totally agree. If Mizzou wins sat. night they need a bama win too to have any chance at the BCSNCG. If they played Auburn it won't be enough to jump OSU if they win out.

I like your enthusiasm but lets get real, if we play bama and win it won't be a "curb stomping".

Don't think human voters would place a 1 loss team over an undefeated team from a major conference.
A large number of them would, I think. Probably not enough for OSU to drop to 3 in the human polls, but maybe enough to make the point differential close enough that the computers will make up the difference.

Lets say Mizzou or AU finishes with one loss and OSU and FSU are undefeated. Do you really believe voters nationwide, knowing they're voting for the teams to play for the NC, are going to put an SEC team at #2 on their ballots?
