Has nothing to do with what we are discussing tonight.

When coupled with your quoting it absolutely does.

My quoting in this thread hasn't been flaming or defending him

Interesting. So this wasn't a jab at auburn

This is just trying to get more PR pity, and attempt to keep this dumb arse's face as a representative for BAMA as long as possible, simple as that.

It doesn't cost more money to add 400 more years onto a 100 year sentence

I think you just proved my point

And the thread title says Auburn AD suing so to me that sounds like a whole separate case and work which I don't think is worth pursuing because Updyke can't pay anything really.

Gotta get re-elected. That's what it's about more than anything, imho.

Everything in every thread gets blown out of proportion by some of the idiots from each fanbase. I do feel if thebagger spends more than a few months of his 2 year term in jail that it was probably a little too harsh.

Agreed, and I thought the sentence length was appropriate, however thought actual time to be served should have been less. The real punishment should be the restitution as it is a property crime.

You've just been alahuntered.

If it is a simple thing and doesn't require a lot of time and money then by all means Updyke deserves whatever comes from this (I do feel sorry for him because how sad his life is and was)

Oh it will cost time and money, but no different than similar valued property crimes. Maybe to a little more extent, because of the public profile, but is to be expected.

Don't be naive. And the "suing" tends to lead to a different conclusion to the title. More of a civil aspect, rather than criminal restitution aspect.

But like I said, alahuntered.

Bronze Tree statue, and build in a walk in treehouse bar. Profit. Problem solved and everybody wins. Probably costs less than a damn mature tree as well.

I was going to call you out earlier, but it does technically mean to bring a case against. And figured you had your rebuttal lined up.

I just glanced briefly at the headline and did what all good editors do. Made the headline an attention getter.
