Bo averaged almost a full yard and a half more per carry. He also averaged more TDs per carry.
That is the very definition of more effective.
Jackson had 16 career touchdowns, Walker had 12 in his rookie season alone and 61 overall. Walker accumulated more yardage in his first three seasons than Jackson did in his entire career. All this and more is why Jackson lasted 4 years in the NFL while Walker lasted 12.
Every post you make is just homer drivel.

while I agree with you, bo had his hip busted, which is why his stats are inferior

Because he barely played. It makes sense that the more carries a player has the lower the averages will be. Not to mention Bo had injruy troubles and wasn't entirely focused on the NFL. Nobody should take Bo over Walker when it comes to the NFL.

Exactly. The fact that the NFL was a way for him to pass time until baseball season, and he walked in in October in baseball shape and was still better than Herschel make it more impressive

I still don't see how you think he's better than Hersel in the NFL. But than again you're being a huge homer as usual.

This post explains why common sense.. is well, not so common anymore.

Newton is at the beginning of the GOAT QB career
Maybe. Unless he gets hurt or fizzles out. I mean, he is putting together a nice career. But to dub him GOAT and elevate him above Dan Marino, John Elway, Peyton Manning, Johnny Unitas or Fran Tarkenton. Lets wait and see if he gets to those dizzying heights before crowning him GOAT.

Bo was a far more effective NFL RB than Herschel
No. I don't think so. I mean, everybody is saying Chubb/Michel is not good because longeivity means a lot. Bo had a pretty short career, so if being injured cuts into a player being good, then....
Not to mention all the stats the Crimson Crusade reported. In short...it is too early to tell about Cam Newton, although things look good for him at this point....and Bo and Herschel are simply to close to call definitively on a pro or College level.

Isn't that what makes Fournette/Guice better than Chubb/Michel?
You might want to take a look at one of the other THOUSANDS of "Which is better Chubb or Fournette?" threads before answering that.

So, you're ranking potential and a made up short-term "effectiveness" stat? Seems like you're shooting an arrow and drawing a bullseye around wherever it hits.

So it is your opinion a player that plays less, produces less, lasts a shorter time in the league is a superior player?
Ooooook.

No. He wasn't.
Herschel Walker is number 45 on the NFL Yards from scrimmage list. that includes, RB, WR everybody. 45th all time.

Bo wasn't even in the top 250. Given a choice, which one do you think NFL teams would take?

It's exactly what he's doing. He has to make the OP legitimate, so he is making up the rules as he goes.

A whole lotta WIN in the OP.. Sorry, you couldn't add anything useful to the conversation. Bama fans usually respond like this when they realize Auburn is better than them at something. Quite pathetic.

Bo was never better than Herschel. In college or the pros. HW is the best SEC runningback of all time.

If Shaun Alexander was such a bama legend, you would at least think you'd be able to spell his name correctly. Leave it to a bama fan.

QB: Hines Ward (played during his sophomore year)
RB: Herschel Walker
Did you even think about your own team or did you come up blank?

Our best QB/RB combo would be Joe Ferguson and Darren McFadden. Darren is obviously a superior NFL back to Bo and Joe Ferguson had a long career in the NFL.
The only quibble is that Joe didn't play in the SEC.
