Who would you consider as your best QB/RB combo in your program's history and where would you rank them all-time in the SEC?
QB: Sir Cameron Newton
RB: Vincent Bo Jackson
1. Auburn
2-14. TBD
Legitimate All-Time Combos:
LSU-Y.A. Tittle/Leonard Fournette
Georgia-Fran Tarkenton/Hershel Walker
Tennessee-Peyton Manning/Jamal Lewis
Texas A&M-Johnny Manziel/John David Crow
Florida-Tim Tebow/Emmitt Smith
Ole Miss-Eli Manning/Deuce McAlister

I'm pretty sure Georgia also has Auburn beaten.
QB: Hines Ward (played during his sophomore year)
RB: Herschel Walker

Fran Tarkenton (Maybe?) NFL HOF, 8th all time passing yards,6th All time passing TD.
Herschel Walker
I mean...are you basing it on statistics in the SEC, combined statistics in SEC and NFL, or just NFL statistics? What are you basing Cam Newton being ranked so high? He only had 1 year of meaningful stats in college and has only been in the NFL for 5 years or so, so he is not in the top tier in college, and he is not in the top tier in the NFL of anything. If we are taking combined that changes the way you look at things.
Or are you just basing it all on potential?

A junkie bust and a white RB from the 50's doesn't quite stack up to the GOAT college QB and GOAT athlete. Sorry.

Do you even know what GOAT means?
Fran Tarkenton and Herschel Walker.
Now....are you talking about college only? If so, then A&M matches your criteria.
If you are talking about college and Pro then Georgia beats your guys.

Newton is at the beginning of the GOAT QB career and Bo was a far more effective NFL RB than Herschel

I like Bo more overall, but he was not more effective in the NFL than HW. Stats aren't even close.

What?
Bo barely played compared to HW.

Bo averaged almost a full yard and a half more per carry. He also averaged more TDs per carry.
That is the very definition of more effective.

It doesn't matter. This thread was never meant to be actual discussion, but rather the football equivalent of fart jokes.

You failed to also mention that Auburn has the best DB combo of all time.
