I think Auburn has more talent right now and Coates and Williams should thrive against that secondary
I think MSU front seven on D is stout and will slow Auburn offense a little especially on run game
Intangibles go with MSU at home with gameday
Dillon Day is back!
I think scoring will be a little down in this one

I hope State powders their behinds and chases em down the river with their tongues a hangin out. Ol Dak fired once more and the aubbies began a runnin back on their heels where their defence couldnt go. see jimmy driftwood for melody.

let me break this one down

state will have success on the ground. i thought auburn's run defense was a little softer than state's

state has the front 7 to hold down auburn's running game, but marshall should be able to hit quite a few big passes

for some reason i was just more impressed with state. it may have been because i thought we were better at the time we played them. by the auburn game i knew we had some serious flaws and had very low expectations

i'm gonna say state wins at home 41-27

I'm thinking something like:

Auburn 24
State 23

At the end of the day I like Auburn's wideouts to do some work and not drop 11 passes. Plus Auburn has a stout defense to match a pretty good offense. It's hard to bet against Dak and that front seven at home though. Can't wait to watch.

I agree. I'm super nervous about this game. I guess I'm nervous about damn near every game, though. Thanks, Chizik.

MSU 38
Auburn 34

I think at some point MSU is up by three touchdowns before Auburn chips away. They just have that "2010 Cam Newton/Auburn" factor, they are just living right or something. I can't explain The Grind to you scientifically, it's more of a feeling, or maybe a fungus. Not flaming Auburn, but You will know soon enough...

The Grind continues.

Reading this one would think these are the two Greatest Teams to ever suit up. Or that they both beat LSU every year, neither are close to the truth.

Neither will be undefeated at Year End and neither will be in the BCS Championship Game.
