In the end I think it may come down to the fact that Auburn has been there before and won the conference title and played in the NC last year. I think that may give them a little added edge in confidence.

This. I think the teams have strengths and weaknesses that counter each other. That being said, they are both good, very good. How State handles the limelight will be the difference.

The Maroons win this one by at least a touchdown.

State only because they're at home.

I think that Auburn struggles with State because of match up. I think that MSU has a great front 7, and AU will not be able to take advantage of their secondary.

both arse kickings we received were equally impressive.

I think MSU has the advantage on both lines, so I have to go with MSU. For Auburn to win, Marshall will have to take advantage of the mismatches at WR ... not sure if he's consistent enough to do that.

You're just proving your backups aren't good. So when it gets late in the game you're going to have trouble keeping up.

As for holding A&M back, Arkansas did too until late.

I think MSU by 14....I just don't think Auburn is really that good at what they want to do....run the ball.

Also, Auburn fans please don't use LSU to measure your running games prowess.

Battle for the ages. Two complete teams that are well coached. Comes down to a final drive.

27-24 State

I will be watching it from start to finish.

don't think you can make much of a comparison between each teams games with LSU for many reasons

1. State went into death valley at night and dominated..hard for any team to do

2. LSU had more confidence when they played State.

3. LSU started a different QB against AU, and I think he really was worse than Jennings.

4. State exposed LSU which allowed for AU to gameplan better.

This. You can't compare playing at night at LSU to playing at night at home. LSU had no emotion against Auburn. MSU took their will. MSU's win was way more impressive against LSU no matter what the final scoreboard said. AU fans should know what a team who gives up looks like based on recent history. Auburn sucked in 2012, but by the UGA and Bama games they just straight quit playing. LSU looked a lot like that Saturday night.

If Auburn wins they're going to have to score 45+.

I was at the State game at TS and have to say that that was pure domination by State.
The final does not show how the game went. MS came in and was not awed by the crowd noise at any point. The noise was deafening for about 2 quarters and State just played right on thru, not intimated at all.
State Dawgs 31
War Tigers 21.
No matter who wins this one, both please kick OM and Gumps asses, Thanks.

State has yet to play a defense or shutdown any offense. Not even UAB. So I think they are still an unknown.

When is everyone on here going to acknowlege that state was sandbaggin against UAB and the other cupcakes. Just like when we gave up two late tds against a&m and lsu.
