I really have no idea as an AU person.

I don't know how well prepared MSU is to make this sort of run, and it is asking a lot for them to win a series of major games. But they'll be at home, so that helps a little. CBS helps AU a little, I think.

I don't think MSU will win by shutting out Auburn's offense, barring Auburn having a bad game.

Auburn could have scored 70 on us if they wanted to, so there's that.

State could have too but Muffin took that foot of yall throats way too early

This is an interesting question.

Seeing both live, I was more "impressed" with State. However, a lot of that had to do with the perception that we weren't really sure how good the Bulldogs were.

Going into the season, I considered Auburn as the best team in the country. But also a team that would lose two games due to their incredible strength of schedule. Today, I still feel the same, minus maybe the two losses part.

Mississippi State is so good on both lines. It's incredible. I think they gashed LSU on the ground even more impressively than Auburn. Their D-line is the best in the conference, in my opinion. Their secondary is their "weakness," but they can pressure the quarterback enough to cover that up.

Auburn is hard to defend for 60 minutes. They're not unstoppable by any means (as we've seen), but you can't contain them the whole game. They're going to get their points to some extent. I was also impressed with their attacking style on defense. They are very underrated on that side of the ball.

I think these are two great teams, and home field won't have a huge impact. Nick Marshall has really improved, but mainly its the complexity of their offense that makes him so hard to defend. However, I think LSU gifted Auburn some points yesterday. State won't do that.

I think Auburn is the best team in the country, but I think they go down next Saturday. I think it'll be a lot lower scoring than people think. 27-24 or something like that.

Winner of this game wins the West, in my opinion.

Auburn was lucky to beat state last year at auburn. State has looked better to me so far, and Dak is really leading them well.

States DL is better as well. Auburn has the advantage of experience winning big games. I don't think the auburn defense has been tested yet this year, and state matches up well defensively.

It can go either way and barring turnovers or major injury I think state wins a nail biter. I can't wait to watch it myself.

I love that everyone is using this and it keeps getting blown up in their face. When will y'all learn that we had two DB's hurt and our second string was in the game on the damn 3 drive.

I think state wins but their biggest problem seems to be stamina. They let LSU and the aggies come back late. Maybe it's because they didn't care, as the games were blowouts, but if not, auburn can win it late.

I hope State powders their behinds and chases em down the river with their tongues a hangin out. Ol Dak fired once more and the aubbies began a runnin back on their heels where their defence couldnt go. see jimmy driftwood for melody.

Based on yesterday (and MSU vs. LSU), what will the score be?

I'm scared. State destroyed LSU in Tiger Stadium. Having to go down to play them in Starkvegas isn't going to be easy. Not sure the Tigers walk out with a win. Just have a feeling that State is doing big things this year.

Auburn played state the third week of the season last year. The Gus Bus didn't start rolling until the second half of the LSU game (the following week).

I think State is a very good solid all around team. But I think Auburn is a little more powerful and do the things that they specialize in very very well.

In the end I think it may come down to the fact that Auburn has been there before and won the conference title and played in the NC last year. I think that may give them a little added edge in confidence.

I'm gonna say Auburn 31 State 23

I'm going with Auburn by 10. They've been there in the big games and MSU is due for an average game.

State is more equipped to beat auburn then a&m, so I would say state by 10.

I like State here. We were still confident against them and at home. Their dismantling of A&M was also good supporting evidence. Would not be too surprised to see Auburn win, but I expect State to win 42-35 or so.

Both teams are very good, I just think that this is the year for MSU, it's now or never and they are playing with a lot of confidence.

Auburn by three touchdowns. Minimum. They won't lose this year. The only game I see miss state losing the rest of the way is to auburn next week
