LSU fans are going to have a more visceral reaction emotionally to their first loss than their second, so many will feel that Mississippi State played better and as such give them the upper hand.

She must not have paid attention. You actually remember the most recent bad thing. It's called recency bias.

They are both very good teams, should be a good game. I would have to give the edge to State because they are the home team.

I wish we had either one of their head coaches!!

State has yet to play a defense or shutdown any offense. Not even UAB. So I think they are still an unknown.

To me they both could have scored 60 on our D, but Mullen let up early and it almost cost him. I just think that Auburn's D line is better...

Bulldogs DL is outstanding. The LBs are top notch. Auburn should be able to pass a little bit though.

I think Dak is a better QB than Marshall.

It's a cliche answer but the game is going to be really really close in the 4th and whoever wins the turnover battle in the second half probably pulls it out...

And nuts on their opponents' faces.

MSU has an Evan Stonelike confidence about them right now so the cream pie analogy definitely works in their favor.

Remember that for no explicable reason, Harris played great against State and awful against Auburn so the scoring differentials between the two should not be the biggest factor. Based strictly on the talent as I see it from both, I'm looking for an OT game; 41-38 Auburn. Could just as easily go the other way. Very equal teams IMO. Auburn has a bit more talent but Dak is the best player on the field. Should be a great game.

Based on yesterday (and MSU vs. LSU), what will the score be?

I don't think you can make much of a comparison between each teams games with LSU for many reasons

1. State went into death valley at night and dominated..hard for any team to do

2. LSU had more confidence when they played State.

3. LSU started a different QB against AU, and I think he really was worse than Jennings.

4. State exposed LSU which allowed for AU to gameplan better.

All in all, we both dominated LSU so it doesn't have much bearing on the upcoming game. We are the best 2 teams in the West and it will be a battle. I look forward to it

This is like asking someone to compare 2 rapes. Not very nice.

I think State will win, probably by two scores.

Wut? We held A&M to 17 until they got 2 late garbage time TDs. THey were averaging 51 points a game. LSU had only 3 offensive points until the last 4 minutes when we subbed in 2nd string guys and went into prevent defense (which was stupid). Our first string guys are good, especially the front 7. Auburn is a run first team, and run defense is our strength.

LOL LSU and A&M used this same excuse as to why we weren't good. You see what that got them

Auburn struggled on the road in Manhattan, Kansas.

And some would say they were fortunate to win.

I expect Auburn to struggle in Starkville.

It will be AU. LSU almost caught MSU and you saw what they did to Giggity A@M.Just a reminder to Bama ,you are 4-3 over last 7 games.
