Yeah, kinda like a 2012 Florida wouldn't you say?

I don't expect Auburn to drop several games next season though
so you don't expect it, but just throwing it out there is a cautionary tale, yet you explain why it happened to florida?
If these threads weren't created, i'd have a harder time picking out the auburn-centric posters. (To stick with the if/then game).

Bama was careless?
Yes, Alabama was careless.
They lacked their usual discipline, tackling, and attention to detail which resulted in Auburn's last 13 points. People will always remember the Kick 6, but the game shouldn't have come to that. With the seconds winding down, Cyrus Jones and Clinton-Dix really fricked up.

99 yard td pass miracles not withstanding.

which is the whole point of Malzahns offense. Bama's defense wasn't disciplined enough to keep up. Get used to it.

I agree, Auburn had several times when we could have put it away but didnt maintain discipline or attention to detail. Our failed mistakes in that game, kept bama in it

Yep. If Georgia's safeties had simply batted the ball down, then Alabama would have locked up the SEC West without playing the Iron Bowl.
Or if AU had not gone in a shell in the fourh quarter after being up 20 points.

Auburn will be good and maybe even great next season but I think they'll have to be more balanced on offense. I could be wrong but I don't see teams allowing them to run for 300 yards per game again.
The one thing I am sure of is that they'll be hungry after the way they lost to FSU.

The amazing thing about AU last year was the fact they ran for over 300 yards per game without much of a passing game. Wonder what the offense will be like when Nick Marshall improves his passing game.

LSU fans are worried that there will be no stiff dew at Jordan-Hare this year.

Don't even go there; it's not that simple.
2009 Tennessee was not on Alabama's level. Yes, they played a good game but don't even get me started. You want to play the IF game? If Mark Ingram hadn't fumbled, then Tennessee wouldn't have scored a touchdown late. If Tennessee hadn't recovered an onside kick, then they wouldn't have had the opportunity for a game winning field goal.
If LSU hadn't played prevent? Doug Nussmeier called an awful second half. Alabama was rushing for 6.6 yards per carry versus LSU and AJ was injured and off with his passing. Yeah, LSU's defensive backs did a good job of taking away the pass, and a great offensive coordinator would have switched over to his dominant running game. LSU wasn't the better team. They held the ball for 2/3 of the game and threw for 296 yards yet only scored 17 points. Is that supposed to be impressive?

The offense went in a shell but the defense just got abused after UGA figured out that AU couldn't defend the slant. Why Alabama didn't focus on that fact when forming their game plan is a mystery.
