There is not one SEC Team that won the BCSNC that you couldn't say "could have lost two additional games".

Recent examples-
07 LSU-nevermind they did lose two additional games
09 Bama- TN, AU
10 Auburn- Clemson, bama
11 bama-did not have to play in SECCG, loss to LSU
12 bama-LSU and UGA

The only BCSNC that you can not say that about was FSU. But if you play a ACC schedule the odds of that happening a slim.

I think most people had Auburn in OT with Bama's shite show of kickers.

And most teams that have good seasons win the close games. We could've been 9-3 but we weren't. Just like LSU 2011 could've been 14-0 but weren't.

Could have easily gotten boat raced in that game too

We could have caught a pass or two, stopped them on a fake punt and put the game out of reach at half.

Your turn.

And if your mother had smothered you in your sleep, I wouldn't have accidentally read this garbage.

Your argument is beyond stupid.

all of that is true, and honestly a 9-3 turnaround from 3-9 would've been insanely great for Gus' 1st year.

However, we had a 20 point lead on UGA and stopped Murray on the goal line and got screwed that they gave him the TD. But yes, the play that gave us the lead was a fluke miracle. But you can't discount the whole game leading up to that.

NO ONE with a brain would put $ on Bama in OT. Auburn was dictating the pace and running at will near the end of the game. Outside of the 99 yd TD, McCarron was under duress and struggling all game.

State, Ole Miss, Alabama, Georgia, all 4 could have won

Yep. If Georgia's safeties had simply batted the ball down, then Alabama would have locked up the SEC West without playing the Iron Bowl.

Kudos to Auburns gritty season!

Missing apostrophe, but thanks.

BUT, they easily could've been 9-3 playing in a non-BCS bowl. UGA had that game won.....Bama was careless and most of us wouldve had our money on them in OT.

Wow. UGA was getting arse-whipped for most of the game and then Murray started firing on all cylinders. Auburn still won. Bama was careless? Auburn played a whale of a game and beat them legit. GFY on that one.

So, all the statements of them being the top team next year are seriously flawed.

Because you're some genius analyst that can see something others cannot? Right.

IF Thorpe had covered Upchurch out of the backfield, Bama would not have beat Texas in 2009.

They have come back to be part of the circle, but last season was far from dominating.

Yeah, kinda like a 2012 Florida wouldn't you say?
I don't expect Auburn to drop several games next season though. Injuries hurt Florida badly this year, but there was another big reason why they went 4-8.
