Of course you would, he was a slave owner. Seems to fit your persona well.

I will not purchase Athlons because of this stupid list
South Bend? It's a fricking ghetto
Baton Rouge? It's a fricking ghetto
Berkeley and Eugene? Eugene is a camping ground for feral hippies lying on the sidewalk.
These idiots are trying to score points with Mother Jones or what?

I agree 100% with you. I know a lot of people don't like Columbia, but I love it. Just moved back last summer after being away for 8 years, and it gets better by the day.

I'm surprised that Clemson made the list and not Auburn. They are so damn similar with feel and layout to me. We had a blast in Clemson when we went but it probably wouldn't be on the list if they weren't a top ranked team right now.
they don't have a similar feel at all. lol how can a colelge in plains in bama be similar to one near the mountains next to a lake, plus clemson has a lot more trees

Back in the 90s, the biggest problem for Starkville was that there was just nothing to do. Students talked about driving to Tuscaloosa (a 90 min drive) just to do stuff.
lol that does not sound believable.

I've been to:
Madison - agree with Athlons on that one
Austin - whatever
Ann Arbor - BS, whatever
Oxford - yes it's nice - Go Bears
Chapel Hill - beautiful
Charlottesville - extremely beautiful
Knoxville - it's just fine
State College - I must have missed the awesome parts
Baton Rouge - I went to that domed strip joint
West Point - very cool
Tuscaloosa - meh
South Bend - ghetto

Anyone who says Austin is not a college town does not understand the city
I own a home 3 minutes from UT in central Austin. Austin is a big city with a college in it. It is not a college town. Athens is a college town. Oxford is a college town. Clemson. Auburn. Is Houston a college town because it has UH & Rice? No. Neither is Austin. Once upon a time it was. 30+ years ago. But anyone who would describe it as a college town today doesn't know what that term means.

Without the University of Texas and the higher thought it brings Austin the city would not be the same
The culture stems from the fact that there is a huge university there. More importantly a huge university which is considered a Public Ivy
Without UT you do not have much in Austin

i think austin would be better for working adults with no affiliation with UT if UT was not located there.

you are associating black people with crime but then say i'm a racist.
are you saying it is not more dangerous around USC than clemson? lol
i'm black btw homey
btw, looks like Clemson adminstration including the president knew that the banana incident at CU was not racist but they just pretended it was. the FITS News blogger, gamecock fan, has had some good reporting on this.
