List isn't legit without Fayetteville.

Baton Rouge isn't a college town.

And I've been to Laramie. WTF is it doing on this list?

No Tempe on that list automatically makes that invalid.

So, another list where Oxford far exceeds Starkville. We really have to quit buying all this good pub.

Calls entire list into question though.

Athens too low.

Knoxville and Baton Rouge too high.

As an Auburn fan, I would put Athens as my favorite running away too that I have been to, especially for college kids. So many bars and shite to do. I love making that trip each time the DSOR is played there.

I'm surprised Knoxville is on the list, especially over Nashville and Vandy. Nashville isn't necessarily a "college" town but a good sized university is there so it should be on the list and really high on the list.

I will get shite for it, but the least impressive college town I have been to that is on the list is Baton Rouge. I felt like everything was too spread out and the fans were dicks to us everywhere we went. And we aren't over the top obnoxious fans, hell, I'm not sure we were even wearing Auburn stuff when we went out.

I'm surprised that Clemson made the list and not Auburn. They are so damn similar with feel and layout to me. We had a blast in Clemson when we went but it probably wouldn't be on the list if they weren't a top ranked team right now.

Oh please. Other than the university the only thing in Tuscaloosa is a Walmart and publix.

I would honestly put Tuscaloosa over Knoxville though.

I agree with you, I don't understand the placement of Knoville or BR. But I'm not an expert.

Yeah Clemson is fine for watching a game and for one night, but it's so freaking tiny with hardly anything to do.

Never said Tuscaloosa was "better", just that Knoxville is crap.

Tons of SEC towns are way better. It's certainly not the 3rd best SEC college town.

Knoxville shits on Tuscaloosa in every facet imaginable.

Even more so with the Craft beer scene/Brewery scene exploding and the redevelopment of downtown and campus over the last 3 years.
