This is why I stopped buying these crap magazines. Didn't realize 24 other coaches have won a national championship and multiple conference championships.

By "multiple" you mean (2) two?

Is he saying freeze is a bad coach because the team that beat the literal shite out of his team lost to Memphis' best team in half a century? Surely not

If Les Miles is only the 25th best coach in CFB, then North and South Korea will start playing volleyball over the wall and having picnics together. He regularly gets Top Five recruiting classes, including several in the Top 2 or 3. He's one of the few coaches to have 11 straight winning seasons and 11 straight bowl games (winning 7). He's averaged 10 victories per year and is one of the Top 5 winningest coaches in CFB in the last 11 years. He had LSU at #2 in the BCS rankings at one point last year. He's one of the very few coaches to beat Saban at least 3 times (and should have been 5), and has played Saban more than any other coach - 10 times, with 7 going down to the final seconds. He's beaten many of the best coaches in the country, including some NC-winning coaches. Meyer, Spurrier, Frank Beamer, McElwain, Richt, Gary Patterson, Gus Malzahn, Butch Davis, Mullen, Freeze, Petino, Nutt, Fulmer, Chip Kelly, Sarkisian, Tuberville, Chizik, Sumlin, Shula, Charlie Weis, Larry Coker, Mike Stoops, Koetter, Kirk Ferentz, Paul Johnson, Kingsbury, Gary Anderson, and Nick Saban. 25th my small intestine.........

Uhhh, yeah not much to add here. Maybe only that he has lost to Saban now for 5 straight games(yes 12' and 14' should have been wins, but they weren't) and just like Charlie Mac couldn't beat Bear, although Miles has had success against Saban, a six loss this year might be the nail in his coffin.

That the full list has Harbaugh at #3(behind Saban and Meyer) tells you how useless it is.

The SEC is by far the most demanding and successful conference in CFB, but they have only one coach in the Top 15?

Miles at 25th is ridiculous.

25. Les Miles, LSU

For some reason, the Athlon staff has a problem with Miles. They rank him about midway in the SEC every Spring.

Damages their credibility, IMO.
