So you are now more of an expert on player safety than Nick Saban? First of all with the current stat tracking its impossible and would need to be a major undertaking to "prove"....
What makes you think its decitful? The man has an opinion on the matter and its perfectly appropriate to use his influence as he sees fit.

If bama fans would simply admit saban is full of shite in trying to get this passed under player safety by inviting himself to a meeting to speak on this topic (and obviously not speak truthfully or from an informed position) everyone would probably leave you gumps alone. The problem is gumps trying to defend saban here. That is where everyone starts bashing. Admit saban was deceitful in this entire thing, disingenuous, and self interested and that would be that. Trying to defend and spin some shitty antics by saban is where gumps look dumb and are getting ripped for it.

I was giving Saban the benefit of the doubt on Kiffin but them i remembered hearing that he thought Houston Nutt would have been a good replacement for him at LSU so who knows.

Get through your barntard brain homer.....Saban has been on the record about the HUNH for awhile. He is a defensive coach at heart. He thinks the HUNH gives an unfair advanatge to the offense. Therefore, he doesn't like it and is using his bully pulpit to try and change the rule. This benefits Saban and thus benefits Bama.
I for one am glad to have a coach who wants to win so badly he does everything on and off the field that is legal to do so. That is what makes Bama and Saban so succesful. It doesn't make Saban wrong, it makes him smarter than you.

Saban wanting to eliminate the hurry up offense has nothing to do with player safety. He's using it as a cover.
