That shite wasn't on national television, and we sucked dick.

Your best team in since the SEC has existed was embarrassed in your biggest game.

Losing to a higher ranked team by 5 in the final minute is embarrassing? You're fricking retarded dude. And no, the Jax St wasn't on live TV but the highlights were replayed over ad over on espn. You were a national punchline, don't hear that about the Hogs today, in fact quite the contrary.

yea, I hate both of your teams, but Ole Miss was way more of an embarrassment to the SEC. I mean, come on, Jax State??? I watched that game live FWIW, and it was hilarious.

Also funny you mention Petrino inherited a rebuilding job, why is that? Oh yes, because the previous coach didn't recruit or develop any depth on our roster leaving is thin in several areas an having the rely on young players.

Entirely serious question: do any Arkansas fans think the environment surrounding the Arkansas program had anything to do with him struggling to recruit in his final years there? He hasn't had many problems recruiting in Oxford, so the guy obviously knows how. Seriously, don't any of you think the local media, newspapers, Hogville, flying banners, and grumpy arse fans had at least a modicum of a negative impact on Arkansas recruiting?

Houston had problems recruiting at Arky way before the haters came after him. Oh, except for the year that he hit the goldmine with Gus & his boyz......

The way you did, certainly.

Ohio State shut it down at halftime. You were given every opportunity to win, and you blew it.

Ohio State being a team that has done nothing but embarrass themselves against SEC teams.

What? How they frick were we "embarrassed"

Arkansas had been a second half defense all year. They beat our arse in the 1st half, and we beat their arse in the 2nd. They were just lucky enough to come out with the win.

You were beaten down by a team that has a reputation for being the SEC's bitch.

I hate to break it to you - but as a fellow SEC fan - I was a lot more embarrassed that OM lost the Jax State when it wasn't even on "national TV" than anything the hogs did last night on the national stage.......

I cannot argue with this man, I just can't. I'm glad he's happy with Nutt and enjoys his Cotton Bowl championships, that is literally the best bowl they will ever get to under Nutt.

Step 1: Get to big game.

Step 2: Win big game.

Neither is easy in college football.

Has Ole Miss ever played a big game(post segregation)? Have you ever been in a matchup of two top ten teams? Ever? I honestly don't think you ever have. What about top 15 teams? I don't think so either.

Using your logic, Ole Miss will never be embarassed. Keep on losing to your one annual PPV opponent. That's the definition of respectable.

Shut the frick up! You are acting like an idiot, trying to bash a team that actually MADE it to a fricking bowl game.

Texas Tech didn't even want to be there. That is why you won.

You were #25 going into that game.

Has Ole Miss EVER in the past 30 years been part of a matchup of top 15 teams?

EVER?? In all those years? Approximately 400 games?? Arkansas was 4 times just this season.

When you play in your first big game ever (how f'n embarassing), then you can critique someone for being embarassed on the national stage.

Untill then, worry about losing to 1-AA schools in a non-embarassing fashion.
