I knew it would come to that at some time. Your point was hilarious. Now you are set to look like a genius. If they win, I will bump for your props, good sir.

IMO Arky fans aren't giving John L. enough of a chance....it always takes time for a new coaching staff to settle in. Even BMFP went 5-7 his 1st season, and 13-12 in his first 2 seasons at Arkansas....

... Strong has been at Lousiville for what, two full years?

He already has them ranked, even after the mess Kragthorpe left them in

Petrino was competing with Miami in year two at Louisville, bro.

Seems unneccesary. He makes like 2.3 now, would Louisville really try to keep him for a little over 3 mil or so? That would be an interesting hire though, we interviewed him for our job.

Louisville is going to throw the kitchen sink at him to keep him (they did the same with Petrino too). They have enough to push up the price.

Petrino inherited a program in far better shape when John L. left (pre-cray cray John L.). Apples and oranges.

Laugh all you want, but there is a little talent on that roster. Their problems are primarily on defense, and he's a damn good defensive coach. Add to that he can walk into a lot of living rooms and tell a lot of mommas that he'll make her son into a man and a whole lot of mommas are going to like him. Arky isn't but one or two really good recruiting classes away from being competitive. I'm not saying they are going to immediately unseat Bama or LSU as the kings of the West, but they damn sure can quickly be making some noise. The mess at Arky really ins't as bad as last week's loss. The right hire can turn that situation around quickly.

Auburn on the other hand...

Yeah, finishing #12 and #5 in the nation the last two years means we aren't competitive yet... thanks for the info

Can Kentucky fans confirm legitimacy to that website?

I'll say I don't use it all that often. I don't think it's a stretch given UofL's situation with the conference and the upcoming playoffs. I'd take it with a grain of salt.

Yeah, we have different definitions of competitive. You mean you can win a few games. I was talking about competing for a championship. At Alabama, anything less than at least being in the running for a title late in the season isn't competitive, but at Arky finishing ranked is an accomplishment.

Breaking news people... 11 and 10 wins is now considered "a few wins"

We lost two fricking games last year

Because being ranked third in the nation going into the last game means you aren't in the running for a national championship
