You're just mad that Boom is a flop and you didn't get Strong first

You go from a coach that almost had Louisville playing for the NC to a coach that hasn't won anything at Louisville yet. John L. Smith didn't win anything at Louisville either.

... Strong has been at Lousiville for what, two full years?

He already has them ranked, even after the mess Kragthorpe left them in

That would just be wrong, back channel meetings... is anyone tracking jets??

It fits the Arkansas MO. They did the same thing with Robert when he was with the Falcons.

Lewyville is currently #19 in the country and looking at a Big East title possibly in his 3rd year. Pretty good imo.

Hence Mullen being only the second best.

Exactly, he knows we had to shorten our stadium's name originally.

Donald W. Rack City Bitch Razorback Stadium is just a little too long.

He inherited a full on shite storm at UofL as well. They'll likely go undefeated and end up in a BCS bowl.

This would make the Louisville fans here just delightful so I'm all for it. They're in complete denial over Strong potentially leaving (he's not stupid and sees the writing on the wall for that conference). That said, be prepared to pay a pretty penny. UofL likes their bidding wars.

Heed the words of BennyAndTheInkJets

quote:

Saban was good against planning against Petrino, because Petrino was always rational and very smart. Saban would try to find weaknesses in his own defense and try to cover them up by exploiting our offensive weaknesses. It's easier to predict what somebody's going to do when they act rationally. JLS is not Petrino, and I predict he goes wildcard on Saban's arse. I'm talking crazy shite, like running the wishbone for a series then having DD Jones as RB. Saban loses it, AJ throws a pick, Saban bits out his jugular vein, cops arrest Saban before the end of the game, Hogs win. Book it.

Compare with

quote:

...there are some things that can beat smartness and foresight. Awkwardness and stupidity can. The best swordsman in the world doesn't need to fear the second best swordsman in the world; no, the person for him to be afraid of is some ignorant antagonist who has never had a sword in his hand before; he doesn't do the thing he ought to do, and so the expert isn't prepared for him.

He will look even more prescient of JlolS can pull that win off.

Razorbacks could offer as much as $4M per year.

Seems unneccesary. He makes like 2.3 now, would Louisville really try to keep him for a little over 3 mil or so? That would be an interesting hire though, we interviewed him for our job.
