Missouri has more SEC Division titles in 5 years of seasons played than the two teams in Mississippi have in 40+ years collectively. Splitting TV revenue with that minuscule state that doesn't produce squat in the big sport of football is laughable.
All you redneck SEC fans want to know why Mizzou and aTm are in the SEC...its because you have some serious dead weight in low population states weighing down your bottoms lines.

Why do we have to have divisions fixed forever?
Put divisions together for 10 years at a time.
Then rotate 2 teams and rename divisions.
You could name the divisions after great coaches or players.
So for 2051-2060:
Bear Bryant Division: Alabama, LSU, Tennessee, Missouri, Vanderbilt, Texas A&M, and Arkansas
Steve Spurrier Division: Auburn, Georgia, Florida, USC, KY, MSU, Ole Miss
Then swap AU/UGA for Bama/UT and play 10 more years.
Put divisions together for 10 years at a time.
Then rotate 2 teams and rename divisions.
You could name the divisions after great coaches or players.
So for 2051-2060:
Bear Bryant Division: Alabama, LSU, Tennessee, Missouri, Vanderbilt, Texas A&M, and Arkansas

I think we should just make another division to stick Missouri in. The North. Sure, they'd be the only team in that division, but since we already let them in, we can't just kick them out. Putting them in the Yankee division by themselves is the next best thing.

Swap A&M and Arky for Tennessee and Vandy. You can have "inner" and "outer" divisions.
Inner: LSU, Ole Miss, State, Bama, Auburn, Tennessee & Vandy
Outer: A&M, Arky, Mizzou, Kentucky, Georgia, South Carolina & Florida
Cross-rivals: LSU-A&M, Ole Miss-Arky, State-Mizzou, Bama-Kentucky, Auburn-Georgia, Tennessee-Florida, Vandy-South Carolina
Inner: LSU, Ole Miss, State, Bama, Auburn, Tennessee & Vandy

When the Big12 dissolves in 2024 Oklahoma and Oklahoma state will make an appeal to the SEC. Missouri will be moved west and Bama and Auburn will go East.
West: Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Missouri, LSU, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Texas A&M
East: Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, South Carolina, and Vanderbilt

You know if they did that, then they could create a giant Trophy of the Mississippi River from St Louie to Red Stick and maybe call it the Mark Twain Glen Campbell Huey Long tri fecta after Missouri, Arkansas and LSU play each other each season and the winner gets to keep it for the year.

Yea good luck with that bitch. Both Mississippi schools are founding members of the SEC. Been in the SEC since 1932 when it started. You dumbfricks didn't join till we let you in 1991. You have almost no pull in this conference which is just slightly more pull than the zero Mizzou has.
Oh and for the Mizzou SJW fan you can keep holding onto those two SEC East titles like they mean something and like the East wasn't the shittiest it's ever been ever when you lucked into two East titles. I know you need something to value after you let a bunch of morons destroy your campus, your university and your athletic programs. Funny thing though is that during those two years you hold so tightly in your heart MSU sat at #1 in the country for 6 straight weeks. Did Mizzou?
