Naw. I'll own it. My bad.

It's actually funnier now, because he already plays them every year and his SEC record still sucks.

Auburn is a coin-flip game for us, sweetheart.

You aren't Bama.

So who would you rather play every year "sweetheart" USC or Auburn?

It's cute to be naive and slow...

He's right. BUT how the hell do we fix it given TAMU also belongs in the West?

They should be in the West. The only teams that are further west are Arkansas and A&M.

Probably not much of a difference overall. Y'all are pretty much the same program right now.

Since the expansion, Auburn has gone

3-9
12-2
8-5
7-6
8-5

USCe has gone:

11-2
11-2
7-6
3-9
6-7

I mean you would think USCe, but if you look at the last 10 meetings H2H in regards to Arkansas, it is pretty much the same.

Missouri only got put in the East to preserve the rivalries. Move Alabama or Auburn to the East (geographically speaking only 2 that made any sense) to accomodate Missouri in West and you really rustle up some very, very old rivalries.

Moving Auburn to East means Auburn or Tennessee would have to drop their rivalry with Bama.

Moving Alabama to the East means either Alabama or Georgia has to drop their rivalry with Auburn.

Just easy to stick Missouri in the East because who cares about them?

Except one team is historically better and each of the teams have contrasting win percentages vs Arky, so...

Well he's right on region, but I wonder if this is just to have a lapdog to beat up on each year, and lose someone stronger.

Have won the same amount of games. Both have the same number of division championships in that timespan, with Auburn having a leg up by winning a conference championship. One program (USCe) seems to be on their way up. The other has a coach on the hot seat for under performing 3 years in a row.

I can't think of anything substantial that distinguishes the two programs at this juncture, and I don't imagine it matters to Arkansas one way or another.

AU in the east is the most plausible but at some point the SEC is going to have to prioritize the current rivalry games per team. Several schools had to give them up in '02. The SEC obviously believes some are sacred and most other schools like their current cross rivalry.

It's almsot like we need a rivalry division

Or just rename them something other than East and West, then it wouldn't fricking matter who is in what division.

Call them whatever you want.
