The people who run, and have always run the SEC, are Alabama, Tennessee, and Georgia. The divisions are the way they are because (1) those three schools set it up that way and (2) the also-rans (Vandy, UK, Ole Miss, and State) always support them when a vote is taken.

Been saying that since they joined the conference, which needs further realignment anyway switching Auburn. Making Mizzou fans travel that far to Gainesville makes as much since as having West Virginia in the Big XII.

Why doesnt the SEC just go to a 9 game conference schedule and allow two permanent rivals regardless of division? That should take care of everything, right?
