This team wasn't just BAD - they would have been lucky to be middle of the pack in FCS play. I think Georgia Southern would probably beat them by 71.

Seriously, we have Gator fans coming off of a 4-8 season including a loss to an FCS school, turn around and beat a team that the same FCS school would slaughter, and puff up their chest to a team that has won at least 10 games 6 years running.

So, NO - we're not "nervous". You beat freaking Eastern Michigan, good for you. They were absolutely horrible - your BAND should beat them by at least two scores.

Why should Bama fans be nervous?

Yall own us.

FAU is in C-USA for starters, not the Sun Belt. Secondly, they finished 6-6 last year; Eastern Michigan finished 2-10. The point, though, is that the question posed was "Are Bama fans nervous about playing UF this year?" - to which my response pointed out that UF scored 65 on a team that gave up over 50 points six times last year, including to powerhouses: Ball State Army Ohio Northern Illinois Toledo Bowling Green Over 40 points to: Penn State Buffalo Central Michigan This team wasn't just BAD - they would have been lucky to be middle of the pack in FCS play. FAU would also beat eastern michigan by 65, as would almost any other school you care to name

I thought Bama's nightmares involved field goals and midgets arguing for a second to be put back on the clock.

I haven't predicted a score for the Bama game yet, but barring major injuries to either team I see a 34-17 type game with Gators blasting open the second half...our defense will smother Bama and I will add in 4 sacks and 2 picks 2 fumbles by UF and possible kick/punt return of at least 45 yds. 34-10 late and Bammer score with less than 2 minutes left but 1/3 of BDS will be empty by then.

The FireLaneKiffin.com will be on the web within hours of the final whistle Saban will be up in his grill micromanaging the crap out of the offense. Kiffin resigns within 3 days and states that he cant work with someone looking over his shoulder constantly.

Paul Finebaum show will have telephone system fail and the suicide homicide rate goes through the roof in Alabama. Saban loses what little bit of hair he has left....and will talk with his hands at pressers....doing a circular helicopter motion. Bama fans start posting what replacement they want as HC Meanwhile Muschamp is now glorified and recognized as the best defensive mind in the country and finally has the right OC. SEC craps their pants and prepares for new sheriff.

Haven't you heard? WVU isn't a bottom tier team anymore.
Ask Oklahoma if they were bottom tier when they played them tight in Norman last year. Ask Ok State if WVU was bottom tier when they gave the Cowboys the L last year. They aren't about to win the Big 12, but they aren't bottom tier. They're the Big 12's Miss State, basically.

As much as I appreciate the respect conveyed to the Big12 by you 'Bama apologists, WVU isn't that good. if 3rd place in the SECw is as good as winning the big12, what does that translate for 7th best in the big12? I don't know the answer, but I do know it's not "keeps it interesting with playoff contender."

Baylor drive summary vs WVU last year:

By your logic, Bama should have no problem with UF. They did go 4-8 last year, after all.
