Why be nervous? It's a game on the schedule you have to play. Be excited, yes. No reason to be anxious about it. I try and not get too worked up over things outside my own control. More often than not, that line of thinking leads to disappointment.

Nah, just being smart. I don't know much about my team other than they have an improved offense and a nasty defense. I don't know much about Alabama's team other than they have a great group of runningback's, a quarterback controversy, and a young but talented defense. It should be a really good matchup

I was just messing with ya. Here's to a good game

Yep, I see UF as one of our toughest 4 or 5 games this season, meaning it's one of the few Bama could actually lose. I expect a 24-20 type game with the home team coming out on top, but I'll be nervous until that one is over.

What about when Bama made Tebow cry, UF should hold a grudge for that game alone

I blame Carlos Dunlap for that game.

And I believe this will be a close game favoring Alabama because of the home/ref advantage.

Florida always has talent, that's a gimme. The Gators struggled with all it's cupcakes last year. After one game this year, all we know is Florida beat the hell out of their initial crappy foe like they were suppose to do. That's all we really know right now. So, on that, coupled with several obvious question marks with the Tide so far, I think this will be a close game. Plus, Florida's coach knows this one could make or break him. Boom is going to probably resort back to crazy guy on the sideline, which should add to the circus. This is the CBS game, right? Boom and Satan, add Verne and Gary doing the play by play, hey you can open a psych ward right there with all these elements at play.

There have been studies done that refs get affected by the crowds and give home teams more favorable calls. It is a well known fact.

the best defense he will face until Florida State.

That would be a fun game to watch. When was the last time y'all played the Orange Bowl?

I am wearing grange and blue glasses bottlew thick, but I can clearly see Bama is not the Bama of a few years ago...not even close.

UF is mad because of last year and the disrespect we are getting....Boom is using it to fuel the fire. Driskel is 13-3 as a starter and will be 15-3 after Bama game.

We have the SECs best defense and team speed that no one can top....and Im dead serious. Bama will have run game shutdown and Sims cant win with a bunch of 3rd and longs...plus we will have distinct field advantage because of returns in the kicking game and punting. Field position is a huge stat my friends. Bama is coming down to earth with a loud thud.

Of course there will be the mass Bammer fans with torches and pitchforks yelling for spiffy kiffys head...which is stupid...cant make chicken salad out of chicken scratch all the time. Its the Bama defense that will be the main culprit.

Maybe I'm a little offbase here, but it seems like Bama-UF have the least amount of venom between the two fanbases/programs than anyone else. I think with all of the SEC Championship Games the two have faced off in, the two have developed a lot of respect for each other.

It's because you rarely play them. Too busy playing juggernauts like Tennessee.

This post is even dumber than LSU Patrick's because we already proved this claim to be completely false.

Even a subpar Bama defense will blow up your shitty offense. Deal with it.

Yes.

But I'm not sure I understand what you are implying.
