No, its a football game that I have no control over? I'm excited to watch it, but I will not be playing UF this year.

Nope its a pretty straight forward comment to a dumb thread title. Im sure you are a pretty douche person since you can't handle straight forward comments.

We have played them 4 times fairly recently so it hasn't been that uncommon. After playing a few cupcakes its the first real exciting game since WVU. I am also excited to see WVU play Oklahoma. Between these 2 matchups we should finally be able to rate this year's team.

You are a football fan, but you have never been nervous for a game?

Am concerned because of the unknowns.
Not concerned because of who our leader is, and how we've responded in similar roles.
Alabama by 13.

We've played them 5 of the last 7 years. How is that not much?
We also played them in 2005 and 2006.

Not 2 weeks before, no. I naturally get anxious when the game starts, but its not something I get nervous about in my spare time.

and a huge test for Sims against probably the best defense he will face until Florida State.
lol
And Florida State's defense isn't that great.

Well that is reasonable and I certainly believe it. I just don't see the need to make such an abrasive comment to the initial question...you guys haven't played UF in a few years, its not clear how you match up...

It was an abrasive comment but fullofshot is just one of those annoying new posters that starts way too many fuggin threads.

If only Florida could struggle with a bottom tier Big 12 team and beat the crap out of (though by significantly less) the worst team in the Sun Belt.
FAU is in C-USA for starters, not the Sun Belt. Secondly, they finished 6-6 last year; Eastern Michigan finished 2-10.
The point, though, is that the question posed was "Are Bama fans nervous about playing UF this year?" - to which my response pointed out that UF scored 65 on a team that gave up over 50 points six times last year, including to powerhouses:
Ball State
Army
Ohio
Northern Illinois
Toledo
Bowling Green
Over 40 points to:
Penn State
Buffalo
Central Michigan
This team wasn't just BAD - they would have been lucky to be middle of the pack in FCS play. I think Georgia Southern would probably beat them by 71.
Seriously, we have Gator fans coming off of a 4-8 season including a loss to an FCS school, turn around and beat a team that the same FCS school would slaughter, and puff up their chest to a team that has won at least 10 games 6 years running.
So, NO - we're not "nervous". You beat freaking Eastern Michigan, good for you. They were absolutely horrible - your BAND should beat them by at least two scores.

Haven't you heard? WVU isn't a bottom tier team anymore.
Ask Oklahoma if they were bottom tier when they played them tight in Norman last year. Ask Ok State if WVU was bottom tier when they gave the Cowboys the L last year.
They aren't about to win the Big 12, but they aren't bottom tier. They're the Big 12's Miss State, basically.
Ehh...I'd say more like Kentucky-- they went 2-7 in conference last year.

Nobody is nervous about playing UF this year.
Nobody.
Nobody.

You aren't very smart. That's kind of obvious from the logo you sport.

Maybe some of doublewide cousin marrying inbreds don't realize it...but Gator optimism wasn't just created by a blowout win over an overmatched team. Knowledgable fans know what is on our roster. Its easy to dismiss a 4-8 team...but crimson breath this isn't 2013 and we aren't playing our third string qb, walk on LBer and missing 3 offensiove tackles plus an All American DT who was first rounder we had 25 players miss something like 126 games because of injuries..got it pachyderm? Remember 2012? 11-1 and only the injuries kept us from a decent year in 2013.
What is your qb going to do when its third and eight? Our defense is the best in the country and we have an offense to go with it...an experienced qb and have developed a host of playmakers at receiver/running back. Bama FFFFFFFFUUUUUCCCCKKEEEDD.
