I'm really looking forward to Tennessee Kentucky next weekend. Like I said, things become a lot clearer in the next couple of weeks.

Yep. Kentucky has the best conference record in the league. And there are some big showdowns coming up on the schedule.

Congratulations to the Wildcats!

I’m alright with it right now. Some big opportunities to make a jump in the rest of the regular season though.

Interesting. Baseball America and Perfect Game have had UGA ranked a few times throughout the season while D1 kept them out.

Now, somehow, it’s the other way around

Those dipshits dropped half their baseball NIL money to steal our best pitcher and somehow became the worst team in the conference.

They stole our pitching coach, and we upgraded as a result. Life is funny sometimes.

Your current 4th place standing in the "powerful" big12 will earn you a seat at the bottom in the SEC. And, we know you're OK with that.
Lol I think the last thing Texas is worried about is baseball. They'll be fine after they can Pierce.

I'd be more worried about not fricking up your only shot to witness an aggie championship in a major men's sport for the first time since Hitler invaded Poland.

No pressure, ags! Surely y'all won't aggie this up like every other team that's ever been worth a damn in your upstart athletic program's history, right? Right???

ETA: oooooooooof. Must’ve struck a nerve or hit on a topic aggies already know is a forgone conclusion. Is yalls BAS really that bad that you know you’re going to fall short? OUCH

Gonna get their butts beat in next year....how much fun for everyone! And we will take a very easier weekend series to recoup and explore our young talent.
So, using this year as the end-all, be-all metric, you admit that Texas is going to whip your arse in every other sport that isn't baseball in their first year in the SEC?

Good to know!

going to be funny if bama hosts a regional, or makes the supers, while holman is watching the postseason from his couch. bet that will go over well with his old teammates

I am interested to see the Bama A&M series this weekend. Alabama has played very, very well at home. As Schoss said, we tried to recruit Zane ...

We are such a weird team to bet on TBH. Offense is generally really good but our pitching is schizo and our defense seems to be a total wildcard. We’ve lost 2 SEC games the past 2 weekends on garbage errors. You can have suspect pitching or you can have spotty defense. Can’t hve both and expect to be competitive.

The shakeup has begun and this weekend is even better!

UK vs. Tenn Does Tenn expose UK's schedule like Bama did Arky?
Arky @ USC Does the spiral continue and put USC back in it?
A&M @ Bama Does Bama do it again?

Movers
UF @ Vandy Does UF get back in it or at least sneak one?
UGA vs OMiss Can UGA pull a sweep to get back in it?
State vs. AUB After crapping the bed, can they do like UGA?

We should have less separation after this weekend, like 7 teams within 3 games of the top, LONG way from where we were last week!

Never going to predict a sweep but we could and need to take 2/3. Goal for this squad at this point is a 2 seed in a winnable regional. From there, we could bully ball our way into a Super (which I have no doubt we would lose on the weakness of our arms). But making the postseason, advancing to a Super, and seeing Condon go top 3 would be incredible proof of concept for Johnson as we go into 2025 with a built out pitching lab and Foley Field expansion

better question for LSU.. how many wins do they need to make the postseason?

3-12 currently

11-19 out

12-18?
13-17?

14-16 in

Can they go 9-6 or better? Maybe?

Missouri 5-1
@ Auburn

A&M 3-3
@ Alabama

Ole Miss 2-1

That would put them at 13-17.. it's gonna be tight
