Here you go dumbass. The rankings/scores in the OP were wrong. The link was to a Mizzou website and they only reflected the scores from the sports Mizzou participates in.

The NCAA uses a 4 year running average across ALL sports a school participates in. Those rankings are below.

Missouri 982
Alabama 978
Vanderbilt 973
Florida 968
Georgia 968
Mississippi State 967
South Carolina 966
Texas A&M 954
Auburn 950
LSU 944
Ole Miss 944
Kentucky 943
Arkansas 938
Tennessee 924

It's not that funny anymore, is it?

If that is the case, wouldn't Texas A&M and Missouri not even be included in the SEC rankings?

Meaning for three of the four years used to construct an APR score, both were in the Big XII.

A schools conference affiliation has no bearing on their 4-year academic score.

So there is no reason to exclude A&M/MU in the SEC rankings.

Exactly. Mizzou's SID was being fair in only looking at the scores in the sports we participate in. We don't offer Equestrian, so we didn't count it. When you factor everything in, the scores changed slightly - and our athletes came out looking even better. A&M's Equestrian programs must have pulled them up.

LINK
Click sport, conference, this past year (2011-2012), then find. Only list 12 SEC schools.

Texas A&M and Mizzou are still listed under the Big 12 conference.

Cecil Hurt ?@CecilHurt 1h @Crowdawg54 they did but ncaa ranks by 4-year conference membership.

That doesn't make any sense though. Our academic scores didn't change just because our conference affiliation did. And the Big 12 shouldn't be able to claim our academic achievements anymore, that's BS. I wonder how long we'll have to be in the SEC before the NCAA "counts" us? That's just dumb. (Not you, Jatebe, the NCAA.)
