UGA and Bama both dropped after drilling cupcakes this week. Doesn't matter, winner this weekend will get respect and the loser will be done in many ways.

I'm only telling the truth, nothing against LSU at all. 34-24 doesn't really exclaim "domination!" if you ask me though. All I'm saying is #8 beating an unranked opponent by a TD and a FG doesn't look all that pretty.

Did we play well? No. 3 for 13 on 3rd downs, 11 penalties, poor tackling, etc. But I will give vandy some credit, like most others are not, they have a solid defense. Held Georgia and W. Kentucky to 14 offensive points. Georgia game would have been 24-14 win for Georgia if not a pick 6 at the end. Vandy has a solid pass defense, held Georgia to 145 yards and held us in check for the most part. Their run defense is another story but they are a better team than most give them credit for. Do we deserve #3? I don't know and don't really care if it is 3,4,5, etc. If we win each game it won't matter.

Ohio state almost lost an out of conference game to Northern Illinois and they didn't move. I would rather have a close one with Vandy over NIU. Vandy has OM circled on their schedule every season and they always give us 110% effort. Rivalry games are always going to be unpredictable. Also Vandy's defense looked pretty salty....they have improved a lot since last season.

Being a BTR native, I get it.
Southern is a small college in North Baton Rouge, and to my knowledge, an LSU vs SU game was NEVER seriously discussed.
I thought UGA playing them was just my friends back home screwing with me, seriously. I was shocked to see it was real Friday night.
How or why that pairing ever happened is still a mystery. It was a true no - win situation for UGA.
Was it a last - minute change due to a cancellation?
ETA: I don't think ULM, USL, or SLU play SU, either.
Do they?

'Cuse has a Swarming D that really played well. Their freshman QB got better as the game went on, and they played very clean football.

Vandy will upset someone before the year ends. That defense and that QB kept making plays when they needed them. Vandy deserves the credit for us playing poorly. They took away the deep ball from Chad and made him uncomfortable. Their QB was a 3rd down converting machine. Every time we rushed an extra man he immediately recognized it and threw it where the blitz was coming from.
Tennessee doesn't stand a chance against them.

you don't know anything about the Clemson team. you can't name a player outside of the quarterback most likely.
Bama is overranked at this point, they lost at home and didn't look good. don't see how you can be complaining about the ranking
