Ole Miss (No. 3) remains the SEC’s highest ranked team after beating Vanderbilt Saturday, followed by Georgia (No. 8) and LSU (No. 9) in the top 10. Alabama is ranked No. 13, followed by Texas A&M (No. 14).

On the heels of a huge win against Tennessee, Florida is ranked No. 25, while Mississippi State re-enters the top 25 at No. 21 after beating Auburn.

Missouri, previously No. 25, falls out of the top 25 this week after its loss to Kentucky.

What warranted their drop in the poll?

I knew this would happen, I'm surprised they didn't put Utah ahead of us too.

We were the first victim.

Got nothing but respect for Kentucky this year. Of course they aren't amazing, but they are much better than they have been.

It is ridiculous how much the media hates UGA... But none of the hype-driven polls matter in the end.

I don't even understand why Ole Miss is still #3 honestly. I mean no hate towards them or anything, but they barely escaped from Vandy last night. Shouldn't they drop a spot or two, or do they consider an ugly win like that a fluke? There something I'm missing?

If the media hated UGA, they would t have been in the top ten to start the season. We haven't beaten anybody yet, and Richt chokes two games a year.

Hopefully we buck the trend this year.

I agree. If anyone deserves to drop the most logical pick would be Ole Miss

UCLA schedule:

UVA 34-16
@UNLV 37-3
BYU 24-23
@Zona 56-30

UGA schedule:

ULM 51-14
@Vandy 31-14
SC 52-20
Southern 48-6

Not making a point, just offering both schedules for clarity or controversy.

I was thinking the same thing. I guess it's still the Alabama factor, but by perception, they are probably around 5th or 6th.

Two games a year? Let's not get carried away.
