Understatement of the century.

Also, just to give you a little bit of a heads up, don't take anything I say on this board seriously until after the SECCG and the BCS selection show.

I don't think anyone believe OSU...or Oregon...or anyone for that matter are better than Alabama.

Pretty much everyone BELIEVES lsu and bama are the two best teams. But it's just the fact that Alabama already had a shot at LSU, and others haven't. So why would we (the country) give Alabama a SECOND shot at LSU when other teams, who may very well be the best team in the country, don't even get a FIRST shot at LSU.

Hell, even if you put Alabama in the game and they win...What does it prove? What is accomplished? Yeah, Alabama would be BCS champions, but what does that tell us? LSU would have a better record than Bama (13-1 vs 12-1) and would have split the two games with Alabama. So what exactly is the point of putting Bama vs LSU again...as it would accomplish nothing. If LSU wins, well of course they did....what did you expect after LSU beat Alabama on the road Nov. 5? Of course LSU would win the home game. And if Bama wins, see my prior statement, it actually makes the situation more chaotic than prior to the BCSCG.

Yeah. There were many people on here saying Oregon > Alabama for a rematch. Then suddenly a rematch is now bullshite. I'm sure it wasn't any sane LSU fans saying it though. There are some crazies around here. For LSU and Alabama both.

No..

Oregon > Alabama in the event of a rematch, they were a near lock to be conference champions also. Also got beat on a neutral field opposed to at home.

Oklahoma St > Oregon > Alabama

I just think when the time comes and you have a NC on the line for one game you just get shite done. They will be floating on air out there. Blackmon will be a monster and they have a good RB I think. I just don't see them losing at home.

i'm not worried about Okie St winning I think they get it done and cover the spread. Those fricking hacks in Clemson HAVE to win for Okie St to make the jump. If the Hacks do somehow pull the upset, Bama is up a fricking shite creek.

That's the way we do it down here, but I'm not sold that they can do the same.

I didn't see them losing to Iowa State either.

I don't get the home loss thing. I fully understand that losing at home is worse than the road but people are putting a little too much weight in it. Specially when it was to the #1 team in the land.

in all probability ok state will lose, but I definitely think they would get in over bama with a win.

All this conversation/debate has been great....but IMO Oklahoma beats OSU Saturday and none of this ends up mattering.

and FWIW i don't think VaTech is a problem. If OSU wins, they might get in regardless of what VaTech does. No voter is going to rank ACC champ VaTech over Big 12 champ OSU in their final poll.

The problem is not VaTech...the problem is getting enough people to believe they deserve the title shot over Bama.

I'd like to think you're right. Oklahoma beat ISU pretty easily but they had some plays where they looked like little girls on D. I'll be nervous watching the game to say the least.

Y'all just don't want to play Alabama and it's blaringly obvious. Y'all could at least pretend to want to play the second best team and save some dignity.

Oh look, you're saying the exact same thing that you say in every post without even remotely trying to see the other side of things.

Shocker.

We've already been down that. Right up until the clock struck 00:00 on the UO / USC game Oregon was LSU's choice for the NCG. I believe it was Boise, then Stanford, then Oregon, then OSU. Now we're back to OSU. Or possibly VT. But by God anybody but Bama.

You're smarter than that. If one can't see (and at least disagree yet understand) the legitimate reasons LSU fans don't believe Alabama should get another crack at LSU.

You're our rival. We won at your place in the Game of the Century. We checked you off our to-do list. We won our division. You don't get another shot at potentially beating us and messing up our season. You had your chance, At home.

If you honestly can't see that, then I don't know what to tell you, cause it's crystal clear to everyone outside of Tuscaloosa why LSU fans don't think it's right that Bama gets another crack at it. It may very well happen, but it aint right and it is not fair to LSU.

Bama deserves to be in as much as any other one-loss team.

If they don't get in, they have no one to blame but themselves.
