So UA/LSU game was boring but LSU beating OSU 48-10 will be thrilling?

Rick Reilly can suck a cock. SEC Hate in every word of that column.

i agree with him. You shouldn't get a pass just because you're in the SEC.

OSU has a stronger schedule and better wins. They also haven't had a shot at LSU.

Stanford, well we can apply all Bama logic to that one and add in the fact that they haven't got their shot at LSU.

Face it: Every thing the guy said is accurate. And only Bama fans are rippng him a new one in the email repsonses.

Seems Bama must beg harder.

What will these anti-rematch people say if Oklahoma State loses on Saturday? It's not like they're playing the Citadel. They're playing Oklahoma, a fairly dangerous team.

But on the flip side, what if Oklahoma State wins, against that "fairly dangerous team"?

If its Bama then so be it. I doubt they escape the dreaded "mercy knee" a second time around.

Doesn't matter. Games only count if they end up favorable for the legendary ALABAMA. that's why they should get a rematch: the first one doesn't count because they lost.

Haven't you learned this yet?

All of this is going to be a moot point. As I mentioned in another thread, none of this matters because Oklahoma is going to make it nine in a row over Oklahoma State.

Bama vs LSU Part Deux. Fact.

As an LSU fan I can honestly say that if Rick Reilly doesn't want a rematch then I am firmly behind a rematch. Bring on Bama.

frick Rick Reilly with an AIDS dick.

(It's World AIDS day, and who doesn't like a Demetrius Byrd reference, besides Auburn fans)

I like how all of you LSU fans are crusaders for OSU. Like y'all give a frick if OSU gets left out of the NCG. Y'all just don't want to play Alabama and it's blaringly obvious. Y'all could at least pretend to want to play the second best team and save some dignity.

They already played you. Bama lost. It's done. We know that LSU is better than Bama.

Why do Bama fans think that LSU is scared to play them. Hell, LSU players would love to get Bama away from the friendly confines of BDS.

Why should your team get another shot to make up for its failure when other teams haven't had the chance to prove themselves yet?

Dead set against this. Hated USC for lobbying for an AP championship (which STILL has not been vacated - yeah, I hate them with a passion) and we will not do the same.

If you win on January 9th then the championship is yours. There is nothing else.

Anything to piss off the gumps is fine by me.
I'll be happy either way. They get left out, cry like babies, LSU wins the NC. They get in, we beat Bama again. It's a win win for LSU.

Yea, there is no way we could beat this Nick Saban defense.

We did play the "#2" team in the country at their house. It was the game of century, and it was kind of a big deal. We won, 9-6.

Speaking of dignity, I've never seen a fanbase beg so much to be #2 in anything.

But that's not why there should be no Dullapalooza II on Jan. 9 in the Superdome. There shouldn't be one because it makes the BCS honchos liars. This is their Twitter handle: @EveryGameCounts. But how can every game count if it doesn't matter who won the first one?

But Rick, it DOES matter...it also matters when you lose to (unranked) Iowa State, Oregon, or USC.

I find it funny that he says that Alabama shouldn't get a rematch because they didn't win their conference then offers LSU vs. Stanford instead

b/c it's presumed that if you shite the bed against Iowa-freaking-State, then you don't stand a chance against LSU
