If Ben Tate can take eric berry over the middle I fear for his safety vs Bo

Why? Ben Tate didn't mind.

No, If he did, he would certainly be fast but would he be Bo Jackson fast?
Doubt it.
Think about it. How else could Bo have been so fast on Super Tecmo Bowl?

He could fly. I have no doubt he could run a 4.12
Indeed he could fly, I would say he was the fastest NFL player ever. However, 4.12 is more than just a stretch of the imagination hell it's never been repeated by him or anyone else. He was later timed at 4.22 which is still insanely fast but 4.12 is mythical to the point of out of the realm of possibility.

He was never timed anywhere close to suggesting he could run a sub 4.2 40

When he retested he ran a 4.22

Greatest game of all time
I loved Chrisitan Okoye and his 100 POWER.

I'm speaking to his track history and 4.22 is fast as hell but not sub 4.2 which is what we are lead to believe.

You're better than this.

My God, I sometimes forget how insanely good he was. These runs are unbelievable (which by OP standards mean he didn't really do them)

Houston Oilers
Warren Moon going downtown to his 3 recievers.

Nobody in history has ever run a sub 4.2 if the clock starts on the gun (rather than on movement).

I would love to see video evidence of the 4.12 40. Would you care to provide?

Bolt runs the 100 and 200m races, completely different.
Fast is fast. At the 100m level, its not like Bolt isn't exploding out of the blocks and running at 100% start to finish--he's not taking it easy out of the blocks in order to finish strong.
If Bo ran a 40 time at today's combines in his prime, he'd still be one of, if not the fastest guy out there. But Bolt would win head to head, every single time.
ETA: Billy Cannon wipes the floor with both of them in the 100m and then beats their arse in the shot put as well.

Football players are getting slower. Here is the proof:
The eleven fastest times recorded at the combine were all from before 2000:
Bo Jackson 4.12
Michael Bennett 4.13
Alexander Wright 4.14
Darrell Green 4.15
Ahman Green 4.17
Joey Galloway 4.18
Deion Sanders 4.21
Kevin Curtis 4.21
Don Beebe 4.21
Donte Stallworth 4.22
Willie Parker 4.23
No player among the thousands timed in the last 15 years has been able to crack that list.
(*The fact that electronic timing was implemented in 2000 is purely coincidental and completely irrelevant)

You have obviously never seen him run. Bolt takes a while to get going. Once he does, turn out the lights. Very rarely do you see Bolt leading the first third of the race. He dominates the second half of his races.

He ran a 9.5 100 meter which dusted the record by .2 tenths of a second over anyone who has ever ran the 100 before. I don't think he would have any trouble beating anyone at the 10,20,30,40,50,60,70,80,90 or the 100 but you know I tend to look at the gold medals and real evidence as my logic.
