I watched tape of the Sugar Bowl and tapes of all of Alabama's games during the season and there was ZERO difference in level of play or motivation.

Really? You watched all of the games and saw zero difference in motivation? How many other games did Bama have 5 turnovers that year? That OU team, while good, was not just incredible. There was a reason Bama went into that game as a double digit favorite. Saban didn't have them properly motivated - an issue I am sure a team coached by "Big Game Bob" can relate to.

You were "meh" about the game but you traveled all the way to New Orleans huh?

Yes. I traveled ALL the way (5 hours) to a city with tons of fun things to do around New Years. You act like Nola is Detroit. You can actually have fun in Nola outside of football. Went down for New Years and also the game. Had that game been 12/27 or even 1/7 I would likely not have gone.

Alabama was so unmotivated and deflated for that game against a BIG XII coach they hated and wanted to put in his place, that they managed to outgain us in total offense in spite of having a -4 turnover deficit.

Anyone who criticizes Alabama's style of play need only look at Auburn. The wild, fast paced, fun stuff can win a lot of games, but when the slightest thing goes wrong it can also crash and burn. The system Alabama runs wins a ton of games every year with a national or SEC title sprinkled in about every other year. The Auburn's, TCU's, aTm's, etc can also win titles, but they will never maintain the consistency that Alabama has.

I too think Alabama's "dynasty" is over. We can't just line up and destroy everyone like we used to. But we have as good of a program as anyone in the nation.

Didn't you just have 5 turnovers a week ago against Ole Miss? Little early in the season for you Bammers to be losing your motivation again isn't it?

Listen homey.....you outgained us in total offense in spite of a -4 turnover margin. "Unmotivated" teams don't do that.

See what happened was......you couldn't get a pass rush that night (all season long really) because your DL were too fat and too slow.

As a result, your DBs couldn't hold up in coverage on our shifty WRs very long because your DL were too fat and too slow to get a pass rush. As a result, Trevor laid back in the pocket all night in a hammock shredding your DBs because......you were fat and slow.

Know why you had so many turnovers? You couldn't block Eric Striker or Geneo Grissom all night long because your all star OL was..........too fat and too slow. Yeldon fumbled the ball running into the backs of your Oline because they were too fat and slow to get out of his way.

McCarron fumbled on the sack because he was too fat and too slow to scramble away from obvious blind side pressure that was coming. Grissom scooped and scored at the end while Henry tried to save the day because everybody else was too fat and too slow to catch Grissom. We were faster than you at every position.

See a pattern here? You lose your big games because you're fat, just like Bert.

You had me until this part...I would say the 2009, 2011, and 2012 BCSNCGs were pretty big. Didn't lose them. The 2008, 2009, 2012, and 2014 SECCGs were pretty big. Went 3-1 in those.

The playoff game last year was a big game that Bama took an L in.

In the 8 biggest games Bama has played in since Saban arrived the Tide is 6-2. Not bad for a fat, slow team.

That was just a parting shot punchline to tie your recent struggles to Bert and being fat somehow. It was brilliant but I see even my jokes elude you easily because of my mental dexterity and nimbleness......because I'm not fat.

Anyway, I'm aware of your record in the past when you weren't playing spread offenses with speedy players and defenses with speedy edge rushers. But now.....you guys do kinda look big, fat and slow.

I agree with this.

I will say that I thought that your linebackers were fat and slow at the Sugar Bowl.

I mean, Alabama is the most talented team in the SEC but LSU, A&M, Ole Miss, UGA, Florida aren't that far behind. Everyone in the Big Ten is way, way behind Ohio State in terms of talent.

Uhh, yes…in terms of athleticism, not production. You created a heckuva strawman though.

They said Bama had a slow big ten defense but Ohio State is the reigning champion and he had Michigan St. as his one.

Ohio State isn't slow at any position by any stretch of the imagination.

This isn't unique to the Big Ten.

Not for long. My wife is a Buckeye and when she calls home and talks to her college friends they ask me what I thought was going to happen with Harbaugh at Michigan. I told them the Buckeyes aren't going to be dominating that rivalry much longer so enjoy it while it lasts.

I think he is a alter. No one can be as consistently ignorant without it being on purpose.

Harbaugh will never recruit at the level of Meyer. Not even close. If they win games against us it will not be because they were the more talented team.

Wake me up when Big Game Bob plays for another national title.

Hell you guys were #1 for much of last year but your hero Trevor Knight choked the season away badly.

OU can still win some big games but they aren't a threat on the national scene and haven't been in a while.

Why would you say he won't recruit like you do when he had to recruit to a semi-Ivy league academic school like Stanford and turned them into a force to be reckoned with? Meyer has a head start but I haven't seen anything that leads me to believe that Harbaugh won't recruit at a high level at Meatchicken.
