All I see is a bunch of rhetoric and optimism from an Alabama fan. Which is fine and I feel ya. But nothing you've posted should have any of us worried.

"eons" might be strong. But UK, UF, LSU, Ole Miss and Arkansas just made the tourney while Bama is on the coaching hunt. That's pretty far out front, for now.

Auburn is also ahead of Bama by a large margin IMO as they are recruiting well and have what I consider a top 3 coach in the SEC.

that makes 0 sense

I'm sorry if you're perturbed by the fact that I'm not worried about bama basketball based off of some AD and internet poster's rhetoric.

A person could very easily believe Marshall is not a proven, elite coach but stil be skeptical of him coming to bama. I wouldn't consider Wichita State to be an elite program, but a legit argument could be made that it is a better job than bama in terms of the ease of winning their conference and making the tournament

Well I hope they are ahead of us...we don't even have a coach.

I don't think y'all get Marshall, but if Auburn can hire a guy like Pearl with their historically shite program and we can hire Howland in our current state, then it wouldn't be all world shocking if Bama got Marshall.

Auburn has tons of those, it's pretty common with them

Exactly, dumb frick. Wichita St is no where close to an elite program yet Marshall has taken them to the tournament 4 straight years with a final four, two sweet sixteens, and a number 1 seed.

Come on now, Phannie. You can't play both sides - pick a narrative. Either Marshall is too big a name to come to Bama, or we're ridiculous for chasing such a mediocre coach. You can't have it both ways.

I'll help him out. Marshall thinks he is too big a name to come to Bama. He knows it will be too big a risk to his long term career by going to a place like Bama. Who knows what he is capable of doing once he gets to a bigger Conference. But when he makes that jump,it might be his last. Money might make it worth it, we will see.

You are the dumb frick. Wichita State obviously plays in a much easier conference and that is part of the reason they have made the tournament 4 years in a row. Alabama is likely not going to be better than Kentucky no matter who they hire and even being in the top 4 or 5 teams is far from guaranteed

A. Does he only play that shitty conference competition throughout the tournament?
B. Who the frick said Bama would be better than UK if they hire him?

This is his 8th year at Wichita State and this is only the 2nd time he has made it past the round of 32. Not exactly a stellar record in the NCAA tournament

It's one thing to say he won't come to Alabama. That is reasonable. To say Marshall is not an impressive candidate is laughable.
