If you want to brag about having more money than God and claim other schools should fear your program as some bammers in this thread have done, I said you should probably come up with a better plan A than a coach at Wichita State. I absolutely stand behind those comments

Man after reading the last few pages of this thread....lol. I feel like the majority of posters on this site can't talk about a team other than the team they root for objectively.
Biggest reason Marshall would consider Bama: $$$$$$$$$. Lord knows we have more resources than Wichita State. Seriously.
I know we have had a few bad years but everyone is talking like we are the worst program to ever play college basketball. We have a pretty good history. Not great but not at the bottom of the sec. Probly somewhere in the middle.
If Auburn and it's history in college basketball could get a coach like Pearl I don't see why Alabama couldn't get a coach like Marshall.

It's not just about money. At Alabama, it is the fiscal responsiblity of using said monies for the good of the university and it's programs. So far as to say, coaches aren't kept on payroll (to keep them quiet) for 10 years after they have left. Is there a shortfall at Bama? No.
Saban has brought more money to the University. Our basketball program, that is in the black, has the same opportunity can become a huge asset to the atheletic department and the school.

Do you know anything about Wichita States players? I don't really know much about them except Ron Baker. Are they 2/3 star players? Higher?

Guys, he is way to smart to come to gumpville and deal with you jackasses. He is just playing the game and about to get a big raise at Witchy State. If he gets 2 million from them and he will he will stay. Which will show the "gump factor" is at least 1 million per year in BB.

Kevin Blackistone just said Alabama (along with Florida) had the bellwether basketball program in the SEC and that Marshall should go there.

There was once a time when Ross/ranger/ellitor etc. contributed to good discusssion on here. They are the wise ones that gave up on this place a long time ago. Kinda sad what the rant has evolved into.
