FYI. Bama's best corner, Geno Smith, was suspended for VT & A&M.
Saban's discipline is just fine.
He didn't have to do anything to TJ Yeldon.
Most coaches wouldn't suspend a player for an unsportsmanlike.

Pretty sure A&M is going to suspend their whole 1st Team for the 4th Quarter this week.

Just sending a message to his players about dumb fouls, its more of an internal thing about discipline rather than a response to the typical media pressure that comes along with actually needed suspensions. Of course this wont stop the rantards from posting, but its nice to see who the big idiots are that came running to this thread thinking there is something to be had here. Finally, like Bama couldn't have gotten it done against Ole Miss for 1 Q with Drake, Fowler, Tenpenny @ RB . Try watching more Bama football and your ignorance wont be so obvious.

Doesn't even warrant a suspension IMO.
To me, that's why it is ridiculous, Saban trying to act like Lord Discipline.

Alabama sophomore running back T.J. Yeldon will be suspended for the first quarter of the Crimson Tide’s matchup against Colorado State on Saturday

A source close to the situation said the suspension stems from Yeldon’s unsportsmanlike penalty in the Tide’s 49-42 victory over Texas A&M on a 4-yard touchdown near the end of the second quarter.
so he does something in the 2nd quarter of a game but the suspension is the next game? Results oriented much?

Way to go Saban. Probably the only time he's ever been in trouble, and you suspend him for a quarter game where he isn't needed. This will be how he gets every back carries against CSU.

So he'll come in with totally fresh legs in the first possession in the 2nd quarter. He'll miss like 5-6 carries in the 1st quarter, max?
Heck, he'll probably only end up playing a half anyways. This one will be out of hand and the scrubs will be in for the 4th.

Saban isn't seeking anyone's approval. He's not happy with his team and he's starting to take away snack times.
