Stop acting like you have some Auburn "source" though.

The difference will be that this year's bama QB wont have the mobility that Sims had. He saved quite a fews drives with his legs. Also is there going to be a WR that he can throw 50 Wr screens to and have them turn into big plays like Amari Cooper did? Thr running game will carry the offense this year. It is more than capable of doing so but teams may be able to stack the box more with the inexperience of the QB and lack of proven Wr's.

Yep, but they also lost several olinemen and their best RB. Bummer for them.

IMO, 2009 bama would lose 4, maybe 5 games this year.

They beat 1 good team, UF. Texas was not a good team after McCoy went down, still almost won though.

The second best team bama played in 2009 was #19 and went 9-4.

Bama will play 6 or 7 teams as good or better than the second best team they played in 2009.

BS. In 2009, Bama beat 3 teams in the AP's final top 10: #2 Texas, #3 UF, and #10 Virginia Tech...and 2 more teams in the top 20 (LSU & Ole Miss). Bama's strength of schedule was rated very high by all the various ranking systems (#1 in Massey, #1 in TeamRankings.com, #2 in Sagarin, #8 in Congrove)...

Alabama's biggest lost is Amari Cooper. He was the SEC's best offensive player a year ago, and possibly the best overall.

The Tide's offense will struggle early as the QB position is solidified.

However, Wisconsin in Arlington just got tougher with the revelation of an unnamed QB.

Yeah....sure ya do there big guy.

And I got the play by play from the only real scrimmage Auburn threw the ball in and Jeremy Johnson has been incredible this fall, and spring, and pretty much any time he takes the field. His one issue is he occasionally throws high. That's about it.

So stop comparing your shitty QB situation to Auburn's fantastic QB situation.

Bama's can't replace Amari Cooper, but the WR "unit" as a whole will be better than last year.

There won't be a QB that can extend the pocket, but the offensive line (reportedly) has improved. The only concern about this years QB is experience. He'll have guys to throw too (Mullaney has been a good addition); he'll have a solid running game; he'll get good protection from the O-Line. The only thing that worries me is if he can't develop some chemistry between the receivers, causing miscommunication, which as we know, can lead to dead drives or interceptions. Morris seems to be the leader, and he's been with the program for a good while now, so it shouldn't be a problem. Over time, as we saw with AJ, Sims, and McElroy, as the season goes on, he'll have more command in the huddle, more trust from the coaches, and will learn his reads (where the blitzers are coming from, when to step up in the pocket, audibles, etc..).

That shouldn't be overlooked either. Wisconsin is far from your perennial powerhouse, but they're not to be questioned for their toughness and ability to compete with SEC teams. Anyways, I digress. Their unnamed QB will cause some questions for the Bama defense, but it's pretty hard to see them coming out throwing the ball, when they really have no receiver that DC's look at and say "we have to have a safety help over the top or he's going to beat us every play". Like I said, they're not to be overlooked because they could use the element of surprise and come out passing the ball to catch Bama off guard, but I just find it hard for them to do that because their whole team is built to run the ball, control the clock, and occasionally take a few shots down field.
