So, why did Brown sign with Aubie?

Lets look at the SEC during this Saban run and list the good teams they faced

2008: UGA, uf (1-1)
2009- UF (1-0)
2010- ARK, LSU, AU (2-1)
2011-Ark, LSU (1*1)
2012-A&M,LSU, UGA (2-1)
2013-lsu, AU(1-1)
2014_MSU, mIZZU (2-0)
2015: Ole Miss (0-1)

So we are talking about a few games over .500 against teams who win 10 or more games.

Bama has won all these rings in the toughest conference in the nation during that span, without question. Just because a couple of teams were down here and there means nothing. Best team, in the best conference pilling up trophies. Something that hasn't been seen before at this level and may never be seen again, and it's not slowing down any time soon.

I can easily see Saban grabbing a couple more and leaving a roster so loaded that Dabo or someone else would really struggle not to snag another after that. When it's all said and done, this will be unquestionably the greatest dynasty in CFB history.

2014_MSU, mIZZU (2-0)
2015: Ole Miss (0-1)

So we are talking about a few games over .500 against teams who win 10 or more games.

Records vs SEC teams that finished ranked

2008 - #1 Florida, #13 Georgia, #14 Ole Miss, (2-1)
2009 - #3 Florida, #17 LSU, #20 Ole Miss (3-0)
2010 - #1 Auburn, #8 LSU, #12 Arkansas, #15 Mississippi State, #22 South Carolina (2-3)
2011 - #2 LSU, #5 Arkansas (2-1)
2012 - #5 Georgia, #6 A&M, #14 LSU (2-1)
2013 - #2 Auburn, #14 LSU, #18 A&M (2-1)
2014 - #11 Mississippi State, #14 Missouri, #17 Ole Miss, #22 Auburn (3-1)
2015 - #10 Ole Miss, #16 LSU, #22 Tennessee, #25 Florida (3-1)

Saban is 19-9 against SEC teams that finished ranked in the Top 25 since 2008. I'm pretty sure we also haven't lost a game to a team that finished unranked since 2008. So, we win most of the games vs Top 25 teams and we never lose games to teams we shouldn't. Also, if you are saying "won 10 or more games" you have a few more to add on there (just in 2015 alone for one).

What a bum!

I love how ranking justifies your argument, but ignore the 10 game baseline. Today, if you finish outside the top 15, you are an average team. SEC teams get the benefit of the doubt by the ESPNs of the world. Then there is the Bowl season argument. But the truth is the SEC and any other league is only as good as their QBs, and the SEC has be devoid of quality QBs.

Then why didn't you include 2015 UGA and 2015 Florida? They won 10 games and they aren't on the list.

They would make us 11-7 vs 10 win SEC teams since 2008. Pretty impressive considering that means those teams went 10-2 or 11-1 vs the rest of their schedules including their bowl.

So 11-7 vs teams that finished with 10 wins, 19-9 vs teams that finished in the top 25, and that includes 2010 when we lost 3 games. Pretty decent.

I forgot about UGA record, and UF was not a good team. There were other teams in the SEC with 10 wins over those years, Bama just didn't play them.

Really?...so what was the SECs record in the bowl games, genius?

When they play Big 10 schools and mid majors, pretty good.

LOL, so now we are picking and choosing. Well I'd argue Tennessee was a good team that didn't get to 10 wins, do we get to add them?

Seriously, just stop.

In fact, I would be totally shocked if even 1 of the 68 was not paid above and beyond the rules.

There is a reason bama signs the #1 class every year and it is obvious.

Now, go ahead and say wah wah rival, barner or whatever bit reality is gumps care more about winning college football gamed than anyone else in the world. So they pay more for each win than anyone else.

And at the end of the day, that is fine, everyone can spend their money however they like on whatever makes them happy. But don't kid yourself, bama wins more because they pay more.

I'm not sure what word describes you best
stupid
envious
jealous
delusional
petty

I'm going with the old "all of the above"

How does Saban only have one undefeated season? That's crazy.

If you'll stop and think about it...one loss at the right time of the season can actually be helpful.

lol yeah that was a good one. Had some furniture broke on that play. To bad Auburn ruined that one for the SEC.

Alabama wins with its talent, but you rarely leave a game saying that Saban just out coached the other team.
Twenty four days ago I walked out of the National Championship game saying, "Saban just out coached the other team."
