At least on paper.

19 consensus 5-star players and 49 4-star prospects. That's 80% of our roster right there.

That's only because a bammer owns the recruiting services.

What are the numbers for the Pete Carroll USC teams? It seemed like they had entire recruiting classes with nothing but four or five star players every single year.

I'd take our 2016 offensive haul over Bamas any day of the week.

Your group of defensive players is ridiculous though... So many playmakers at every position.

yea its pretty amazing

so much talent sitting on the bench

bama could trot out their back ups and beat 95% of the teams in cfb

So if you don't win Natty next year Saban should be fired right?

I mean with such a stacked deck, everyone else is playing for 2nd place.

They've done a pretty good job of developing and utilizing that talent for success.

It's been pretty amazing.

57 of Bama's scholarship players in 2015 were ESPN top 300. Of those, 39 were FR/SO. With the 2016 haul added, it's certainly supports your hypothesis.

Just goes to show that chargers, suits, and free hunting/fishing trips > cheddar bay biscuits for long term success

Well, he may not win it every year but I'd say 4 Natty's in the last 7 years is pretty solid.

Yeah I mean we'd basically have to have the greatest dynasty of all time in order to not consider this underachieving
