Nope

Best teams don't lose games

The best team had a loss in 2011 and 2012.

Looks like they're going to the championship game after all:

Does this mean Bama will claim another fake NC?
I would definitely take that bet plus they would print four different Tee-Shirts.

FSU would wipe the floor with the gumps, just like they will with aubie.

They would not wipe the floor with UA but I'm not convinced Bama would win.

Ala. luck has officially run out. To be the best team you have to have not only the best players but the best coaches. Saban is beginning to look a lot like a great recruiter with a confused mindset in the clutch when things aren't going perfectly. He pulled an obvious 4th down call out of the hat against LSU (no pun intended) but then had antoher brain freeze against Auburn. He did the same thing when he was coaching LSU against Iowa in bowl game by not playing prevent on last play of the game. I think he was thinking about the Miami Dolphins back then. Maybe he was thinking about Texas this time.

Right, like in the TAMU and LSU games this year, and the UGA and LSU games last year. Great point.

I love how you're counting a 57 yard FG as missed points.

Nobody is counting that as missed points. The missed points were when Saban, the ultimate conservative play caller, went for it on 4th down inside your 30 late in the game because Cade Foster couldn't kick a FG.

Sorry your team is undisciplined.

I can't keep it straight. When Bama has very few penalties it's because the refs were paid off, but when Bama has one game with a lot it's because the team is undisciplined. At least keep the story consistent.

FSU fans lived off that title in the 90s. They were always call the "best team at the end of the year" almost every year. Too bad they always fricked it up during the beginning and middle of the year.

How often do you lose a game like that? Not very often. Sometimes crazy things just happen. It's part of the sport.

How often do you win a game when your D gives up 296 yards rushing in the SEC. Not often... Auburn did their part too. In a game like that, it comes down to who makes the best plays in crunch time. Auburn did and won.

It was a fluke win equivalent to the Giants beating the Patriots in Super Bowl 42. The better team didn't win the game. FSU will badly expose that fact on January 6.

FSU ain't playing an ACC team here - good luck to them wiping the floor with Auburn. FSU could win (they're a very talented team), but I don't see anything being easy here. Yes, the ACC has a record 11 teams playing in bowls this year (lots of very mediocre teams), but the ACC has the lowest BCS Bowl winning % out of all conferences at 2-13 all time. The SEC - it has the highest winning %.

Reminds me of a fluke win during a recent January mulligan bowl game. Play that game 10 times on a neutral field (or in Tuscaloosa) and LSU probably wins 6 or 7.

He wanted to keep that Auburn offense off of the field (with good reason). I think he thought that was the best bet to win since Bama was shaky with the FGs anyway and Auburn had the ability to score really fast.

LSU had a fluke win in that game too. Bama missed four field goals in that game and there were all kinds of fluke plays that went LSU's way like the 70 yard punt that went over Maze's head. OTOH, Texas A&M was actually the better team when they beat Bama in 2012.

Yeah, good luck with that. This ain't Duke you're playing. Like I said, I think FSU is a great team, but when you rush for 296 against the Bama D and rush for a record 545 yards in the SEC Championship, it ain't a fluke. It is what it is.
