Either Illinois is terrible or they are pissed grant was fired.

About the best I have seen the offense play so far

they're better than this, looks like they don't care. second year in a row they should have been playing home games in NIT but aren't because of renovations. I'd be depressed too if I got sent to Alabama despite earning the right to remain home.

If this is the sort of game Bama plays when Grant is fired they need to hire and fire him before every game.

Illinois wasn't ready for a jacked up Bama.... apparently the players actually do love Grant

It isn't just that. Alabama is clearly jacked but Illinois is also listless.

Grant was always our players' most popular coach while he was at Florida, so anyone saying that players don't like playing for him or don't believe in him or whatever is probably bullshite.

Folks on here have said all along that Bama has some real talent. They just have to harness those horses.

The players liked him because he was so soft and never got onto them. We need someone who's harder to the players.

You're wrong. Grant showed no emotion court side.
