I was worried we'd lose going into it.

I don't think Wolters has much of a pro future (Europe, sure), but I'd definitely take him here.

I thought we'd have more issues keeping him out of the lane, in that he couldn't shoot at all from 3 last year but still averaged 21 points a game. Tonight I didn't think he was impossible to keep out of the lane (we're a good defensive team though), but he was lights out shooting it.

He's still pretty crafty in how he gets to the basket. Dykstra annoyed me to no end, but he's a pretty good player.

He has mastered the art of pushing off and never getting called for it.

Can anyone imagine an Alabama offense that sets screens and has player movement and cutters like South Dakota State? That would be so much fun to watch. Bama again relies on defense to provide scoring opportunities.

Grant needs an offensive coordinator on this team.

Bama fans stop being down on your team, South Dakota State is a good team with one of the best playmakers in the country. This will end up being a quality win, just wait.

SDSU is pretty solid. This is a bigger win than Bama fans may think, you'll notice it later in the year

It is a nice win but Alabama is the same stagnant team on offense. We don't have enough ball or player movement and we have to much standing and watching. You can set screens even against a zone defense.

The easiest person to guard is one who is standing still.

Bama has a junior high school offense in terms of sophistication.

If they don't mop up the floor with UWA, then you guys can start to worry.

We're number 2 in the RPI

Right below Stephen F. Austin, right above Albany, Arkansas, Arkansas-Little Rock, and Auburn. Rarified air motherfrickers.

What Louisiana athlete isn't? Louisiana has 80 players in the NFL. I'm sure he will be there one day, and it all started in LOUISIANA.

This statement I agree with, but its hard to have that SDSU offense when every team you play plays a packed in zone 95% of the time. Once our shooters start hitting consistently, I think you will see a better offense. Just about any Zone is an extremely hard defense to crack when it's run correctly and when you can't shoot threes. Having said that there are other ways to crack it, and Grant definitely needs someone to help him figure out what works against the zone, because he clearly isn't an offensive guru against zone defenses, never has been.

Wrong sport, breaux. Trevor Lacey is a basketball player for Alabama that is from Huntsville, AL.
