So if Grant struggles this year do you start talking about replacing him? No more Gottfried headcases to hold him back.

WHAT?

Did you miss my coaching ranking thread today?

I had a couple Bama fans tell me Grant is Top 4 in the SEC.

I'll support this team even if we never win a game,it's the first game of the season, long way to go.

We're going to have to turn into being a perimeter team. It might look a bit ugly for a while (hopefully not all season).

Grant really had to make the tournament last year, and thankfully he did.

I've been saying all along I have no idea what this team will look like this year. I don't think he's in any kind of serious trouble assuming we have a less than great year, but then the next year would be a deal-breaker. We're certainly set up to be better next year than this year.

Regardless, its still early and South Dakota State isn't a bad team at all. But we are having to change how we play since we really only have one post scorer and he's a bit clumsy, to say the least.

I didn't know what to expect this year, but I was hoping the offense would look a little more in sync. Maybe they can get it done with defense.

This would really hurt Bama right out of the gate too.

These type of losses kill RPI and already put a bad loss on the NCAAT resume for a bubble team.

It's looked ugly for 3 years now.

Anthony Grant offense = PG stand @ top of the key dribbling while other 4 players stand around doing nothing.

It ended as an easy win. The game was never in doubt.
