Take AJ out of the equation and you are saying Saban uses common sense. What a bizarre concept.
AJ could throw on any down with complete confidence. You are way too obsessed with AJ and should not let it get to you like it does.

So basically McCrying is saying Saban is Tubs 2.0? I've been saying this for years. The only difference between Saban and Tubs is, Saban actually recruits while Tubs duck hunts.
wat? Tubbs is nothing like Saban in any way whatsoever. I liked him as a coach honestly, but there really is not much of a comparison between him and Saban in their coaching styles

Most QBs go to the line with check options. If it's a run call and they stack the box, they'll check to a pass play. I they know their QB sucks they'll check to a run play to the other side to avoid what's being favored. AJ is literally telling you this is what happened.

The "imposing your will" tactic doesn't look like it's going to cut it anymore against the better teams.
Wish Les Miles had realized that after the first half against Miss State. Still thinks he can just grind teams down and run all over them in the second half

No he couldn't.

When Saban's conservative plan wasn't working, he would take the cuffs off of AJ without hesitation. Go back and watch last year's A&M game to see what I mean.

Against the worst defense in the SEC, anything works.

I was with you until you said this.
Umm... Yeah they did. They scored one touchdown. OM offense is a great offense and you can't expect your defense to shut them out. Credit to them for beating us on all three fronts.

Can Saban process former players, too?

AJ really needs to think before he speaks.

AJ going to do some crawfishing tonight as he heads back to the airwaves tonight. Who called him first, Saban or REC?

Saban replies:
"I don't know how AJ would really know, but I don't necessarily see that as the case," Saban said.
"I think that leadership is something that we have several guys that have played a lot of football around here that do a good job," Saban said Wednesday. "I think sometimes people look at the quarterback position as the guy that has to be the leader and I think sometimes when you have a new quarterback and that guy is really concerned about what he is supposed to do, maybe he doesn't look to be perceived as the guy that's affecting other people."
"But actually, I think Blake (Sims) does a pretty job of (being) very well-liked by his teammates. He's a very positive, high-energy guy that has shown leadership. I don't think we played real well last week for whatever reasons, I don't know that that's all leadership. I'm sorta responsible for all that as coaches and players to make sure we're ready to play our best against good teams in tough environments on the road."
A little refresher that Saban can own up to something he considers his fault.
