I think AJ should show a little respect to the Ole Miss defense. Im sure there are some things that the offense wanted to do, but the Ole Miss didnt allow it. They prevented Coop from going deep, so they offense had to take what it could get underneath. The Ole Miss game plan needs to get credit for that
Its 1 loss and it seems like a knee jerk reaction from AJ. We lost to a very good team, on the road and we had 2 costly turnovers, one of which eneded the game. The offense didnt lose the game, special teams (2 missed FG's) and the defense did.

Thank you sir and a very rational and objective assessment of the game.

Did alabama lack "true leaders" when they couldn't get it done at home in 2011 and 2012 in their biggest games or when they finished on a losing streak AJs senior year?
This guy is such a loser. He would be nothing without saban.

What does true leaders mean? Seems like Blake Sims was doing a great job....oohh now I think I see what he meant.
If you think he meant what I think you think he meant, you are probably the one with the problem.
Know what I mean?

So basically McCrying is saying Saban is Tubs 2.0? I've been saying this for years. The only difference between Saban and Tubs is, Saban actually recruits while Tubs duck hunts.

I imagine most Ole Miss fans thought they were going to lose the game 24-23 when the extra point was blocked --especially when Alabama moved the ball down the field to get within striking distance. You could see it when they panned the crowd. Didn't happen, of course. But that explains the jubilation after the interception. It is like getting a shot and finding out it didn't hurt as bad as you thought it would.

He never did superman while losing by 28 and getting a first down. There's that.

I guess you missed the entire first paragraph I wrote. Obviously the defense doesnt play against air, so Ole Miss offense had something to do with the defense playing like trash the 2nd half.
Tha good enough for you?

He didn't have the talent to see the field in the NFL. There's that.

@openingdrive: .@Fran_Tarkenton: AJ McCarron needs to be quiet. He was so fortunate to play in Nick Saban’s program and was average at best.

"I don't know if that's Lane doing that or if coach Saban is kind of putting the handcuffs on Lane like I've known Coach to do in the past on his offensive coordinator and we're going to be very bland and run this play and do this and we'll throw it on third down if we have to," McCarron told the Tide 99.1 audience
Well I'm certain that posters here completely understand the context of AJ's answer.. Yeah there is NO WAY Saban could purposely be keeping things vanilla at times. Like during a blow-out or to keep from tipping his hand. Or even if a certain strategy is working... A man who has won 4 BCS titles over the last 10-11 years has no idea what he's doing...
Even the greatest coaches in HISTORY lost games. EVERYONE does... But call me crazy if I'm not ready to call out the lynch mob and have him run outta Tuscaloosa...
People can only hope tdecline happens... But let me let you guys in on a little secret, it won't happen ANYTIME soon...
